need help cleaning 2008 mazdaspeed3 felt like interior

hey guys i just got a 2008 mazdaspeed3 it hs 23k on it its my dd, i normaly use a shopvac on it but the carpet is like felt and when u suck the dirt up with the vacume its like tearing the carpet, any tipps or tricks mazda owners use???
 
There's an attachment that can be put on the end of a vacuum to keep it about 1-2" above the carpet, still sucks up the dirt but doesn't pull on the material. Don't know if one is available for your Shopvac though.
 
someone please chime in and help me, everytime i vacume it sseems like it pulls the carpet in with it andi dont get all of the debri please give me tip[s on how to vacum the gen one speed3 carpet

Hi UA, I have a '10 MS3 fully bolted with SURE and Cobb ;). I know the carpet in my trunk is a a 'felty' like, but I am not to familiar with Gen 1's carpet.

If you have a normal shop vac you can get brush attachments at Home Depot that will fit different size hoses. Alternatively, if you have a air compressor you can blow the carpet out with high velocity and loosen some of the debris.
 
I got the attachment from the local vacuum store; I use the pull type vacuum & it does double duty on the house rugs as well. Sounds like a couple of us use it.
