I just bought a new suv it is metalic red and it's a Lexus RX 350 and I would like help choosing how to detail my new ride. It has been washed and clayed so I need to know what you think I should next and so on. Here is a list of what I have to work with... Menzerna line, Poorboys line, FK1.line. Now I have a WG pre-wax polishing enhancer which I really have no idea what it actually does but would like to try it.. LOL I have PO106FF which I will use cuz I love it. I have Zaino show car lok and new car polish but I really don't want to be limited to Zaino unless I can top it with carnauba.
I was thinking of using my FMJ for my 1st LSP. I also have V&RED moose which I like .
So not to be confusing but I just want to know what you would start with and what pad for sure as I have LC pads and if you would use a pre wax this or 2 coats of glaze or however you would do your own brand new ride let me hear it. I don't care how many steps it is the more the merrier. I am going out to detail a IS 350 and when I get done I will check to see who has given me there line up. Remember to me pad choice is huge so don't forget that and thanks.:bow:bigups:bow:bigups:bigups:bigups

I'd go 106FF on a white LC pad, RMG on a blue LC pad and finish it off with the FMJ by hand.

The Menzerna will probably handle all of the polishing needs (I assume it is new) and leave the surface clean and clear. The Red Moose Machine Glaze will add nice depth and clarity. It does a very nice job on reds. The FMJ is a nice little sealant. The slickness is wicked nice. I don't know any long term bonding issues ove a glaze base though.

If you really wanted to substiute the Wolfgang stuff, use it in lieu of the Red Moose Machine Glaze. A black pad would be sufficiant here. It will serve as a paint cleaner and leave a good surface for the FMJ.
