Per usual I'm no help with an OTC solution :o but just incase you're willing to order- I've been experimenting with my go-to APCs, EFHI and P21S Total Auto Wash, as I clean up the M3's disgusting undercarriage/etc. The P21s TAW is really impressing me, makes me wonder why I quit using it all the time. Like most APCs it can be diluted for all sorts of applications and the orange scent isn't off-putting, at least to me. It's cleaning a lot better than the EFHI, which I still like for some indescribable subjective reason.

I know it's not an otc product but I've been using Mirachems APC and found it to be an absolutely great product. Not a harsh cleaner by any means but extremely effective. Bought in bulk and no shipping charges. My wife wanted to know if I had anything that would take some old stains out of a carpet and now I have to aks for my APC back! Works great on what they call the 4 p's, pets, people, plant, and petroleum stains. If you go to their website you can get a free sample sent to you. Worth a shot!

I reallt like the big jugs of "purple power" that you can get at wal-mart. Dilution ratios for all sorts of different uses listed on the back of the jug. Cheap too.

I love Costco's "Oil Eater" product. I haven't tried a lot of OTC cleaners - actually, I think Simple Green is probably the only other one. Costco's is cheap, and I've found a 5:1 dilution to be just about right for sidewalls, wheel wells, etc.

Believe it or not the really cheap "Mean Green" from the dollar store can't be beat! This stuff will do it all and just as good or better than Simple Green. Mike
