I finally broke down and purchased a PC from coastal tools. When I first purchased my car last year I purchased all the products mention in this thread from AUDIWORLD. I have 3M IHG, 3M SMR, P21S GEPC, Meguiar's #7. After lurking around here and searching I see most people are advising against what I purchased or arent getting the best resuilts. After seeing this thread Im thinking I should buy all new products.
It appears the 3M IHG is just a filler and the SMR might not be tough enough for my clear coat. I guess those products are just going to make my cabinet look nice
After reading the above thread Im thinking now I need to go the Route:
Meguairs DACP yellow pad Lake Country
-> 3M PI-III Machine Glaze 05937 white pad from LC
then can I use my p21 gepc white pad LC and Meguiar's #7 white pad LC followed by wax?
I want a good combination that will last 6 months if waxed during the spring/summer/fall months.
