I work for a tree service, and our trucks get absolutely hammered! Tree sap, grease, road grime, mud, cement, tar, gas, oil, etc etc.....you name it it finds its way onto our vehicles. one of the biggest things we deal with is fading paint.

I am looking for advice on;

washing these things clean, the most efficiant way possible.

and what product will give the longest protection, and is easily applied by hand or rotary.

swirls, holograms, buffer trails, etc etc is NOT important. Protection is.

we have the trucks pressure washed every other week, but they aren't protected from sun, etc.

I know the feeling, I do several big-rigs and construction trucks myself.

One thing I have found that works is Hi-Temp Terminator Paint Sealant. It has great durability, light cleaners, and can be applied with wool/rotary.

One thing you may want to look into, the guys that do the pressure washing can use spray waxes that are fed into the pressure washer. All they have to do is spray it on and rinse it off, and it will add SOME protection. Northern Tool has a couple gallons. Never used it, but it's an idea.
