Need a something to replace poorboys natural look

I am just not having any luck with this stuff. Every time I use this stuff it leaves behind a funky residue on my leather seats that I have to buff out which seems to take forever. Plus the new scent they are using is something to be desired (Funny thing is that none of this started happening until they switched scents).

I have tried diluting, just using less and nothing is working. Anything else out there worth trying?

Have you tried leather stuff yet? Personally I stick with NL on dash and Leather Stuff for well, leather.

We have not changed scents since day 1 ...where did you get your bottle and what does it smell like?

It smells like fruity bubble gum. It smells very very different from what I got the first time around (which happened to work great!). I hope something didnt get mixed up! How do I go about fixing this??

I got it from Autogeek.net about 2 months ago. =\ My first bottle came from premium auto care

they all should smell like Cherries, some are a little stonger than others depending on the batch. Was your first one thick or thin? As budman said, you might want to try Leather Stuff, especially with the special going on now...quart for the price of a pint...

The first one did not smell like cherries at all. I guess you could say this one smells like cherries but it doesnt work as good as the other bottle did. The first one was much thinner than this bottle if I recall correctly.

I have a brand new bottle of leather stuff that I have used and it worked good but it is definitately not something I would enjoy using on a weekly or biweekly basis. Just more of a quartly conditioner.

Just yesterday I used Natural Look on two cars with leather seats because I was out of leather cleaner/conditioner. I was happy with the results as far as the feel of the leather. It didn't do to much cleaning on them, but I wasn't really expecting it to.

What vehicle are you using the Natural Look on and not liking the results?

I remember Steve telling me not to dilute the NL. Did you experience this problem before you diluted it?

Natural look is a great product but I would only use it on dash boards, plastic areas around the door and center consoles. For leather I would definitely use a dedicated leather cleaner and conditioner such as the poorboys natural look.

right now im using the 4star leather cleaner and 4star leather conditioner and it works out great.

The vehicle I am using this on is a 2004 Nissan Murano. It did this before and after I diuted it. This sucks because now I stuck with a product that doesnt work for me and makes my seats a mess. :(

Badfish, how much are you spraying on the seats? I just used it again on a Buick Century leather seats and they came out great. Slick and smooth with no residue. I used about 2 full sprays on each seat and then wiped with a MF.

Pretty close to 3 sprays per seat. I have to go out and buy a new wash mit today and I am going to give this stuff one more try tonight and see how it goes. Hopefully it it will turn out well.

Oh man, does diluting NL for Dashboards/Panels in the Interior decrease durability? I don't use it on the Leather, seems to much of a dressing to me, not a conditioner.

Badfish the only thing i use on leather seats is the leather stuff

and to apply the leather stuff or any thing in the inside of the car, i use cheap sponges i get at the dollar store why are you using a wash mitt to apply it with ?

and 3 sprays of natural wow i only use may be a 1/2 dollar size of the leather stuff per seat rember with poorboy products less is better.and how often are you applying the natural stuff to the seats

Doh!, A couple of corrections here. First, I had to buy a wash mitt because my other one just wore out, it wasnt for the natural look but for washing my car. Second, I have used leather stuff on my seats and it worked very well. Like I had mentioned before I dont want to use that stuff as a bi-weekly cleaner but more of a twice a year conditioner.

Today I used natural look and was very careful with the amount I used and I think it turned out fairly well. I will take a closer look tomorrow when I pull my car out of the garage but I think my problem was just using too much.

Stay tuned! :)

I have never had any problems with the Natural Look. It always turns out looking great. I use an applicator pad to put it on with. If there is any gloss I just buff with a microfiber. Natural look is definately a great product!
