Need a new wash

Ran out of my supply of GC, and I like to use NXT when I know for sure I will be polishing.

Guess what im looking for is a non-stripping LSP car wash with good cleaning ability.

Id rather stay away from OTC.

what he said ^, $20 for a gallon at your local carquest... :up

I stick with what works for me: Griot's. It's extremely lubricious and gentle on my LSPs. I found NXT to be more harsh on my LSPs and had decent lubricity, but no where near Griot's.

I used NXT for the first time about a week ago and loved the stuff. I couldnt tell that it removed any LSP at all. I also used UQD afterwards so it doesnt really matter. The beading is insane..

What was your experience? I love both, it's hard for me to choose between the two :D

hehe yeah I understand. :)

well, 901 is...

cheaper (no shipping charges), better lubricity, slightly more suds.

Same here, but it is a bit pricey.

Absolutely. I wish they offered discounts LOL -- I stock up by the gallon so it saves a bit on shipping, especially when I get Wheel Cleaner, Speed Shine and Car Wash in one order. It's definitely not cost-efficient to purchase one small item from Griot's, but the available sizes help make up for it (a tiny bit).

In going the Griot's route, I would consider purchasing the 8oz. squeeze bottle too (or even a cheap squeeze bottle). I find it helps make my gallons last longer as opposed to just pouring it from the gallon container and using much more than I need.

I use and really like: CG's Citrus Wash N Gloss, Zaino Z7, DP Extreme Foam.

If you're using a foam gun, I reallly like 3 parts of either Zaino or DP to 1 part CW&G. Thick, clingy, highly lubricating foam that cleans very well, doesn't strip your LSP, fights water spots, and leaves your car glossy.

I just tried Top Of The Line's bubble bathe today and I really really like it. It is very gentle on the paint/LSP with plenty of suds but more importantly good lubrication. Now I wish I got 2 gallons for $29+shipping. I also picked up the 6 pack of 12oz spray bottle and they spray a nice wide mist. I'm going to put my QS in there since it spreads it out so well.
