neatitems.com Microfiber groupbuy - Any interest?

I'm considering a wholesale order (100 units) of the 15x15 terry microfibers from neatitems.com. I need about 30 of these and wanted to offer the rest of the batch to the autopia community at no profit in batches of 10. Therefore I'd have 7 batches available at my cost + shipping to you. My cost with shipping is $2.70 per towel so figure a batch of 10 to your door at around $31-33 via USPS priority mail. Payment would be accepted via Paypal or MO only please. First 7 autopians based in the USA to express interest will be put at the top of the list dependent on receipt of payment. If you need to check my references please lookup my user id "bmduncan" on ebay. Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to "giving back" to a community that has helped me so much.

11/28/01: I have placed the order and am waiting for the shipping info from neatitems. The 7 of you that responded first will have dibs with the other 3 being alternates.



11/29/01: Steve with neatitems is out of town and won't be able to ship the towels out until Dec. 7. That puts the towels in my hands around the 14th with me hopefully shipping them out on the 15th. I'm going to figure out the exact shipping cost so I can start collecting the funds soon. The first 7 to show interest were:

AMSoilAD, TortoiseAWD, bretfraz, derrickm, NSXNext, Alitalia, and 84GTV6. The rest of you are on the waiting list in case someone falls through. I will send everyone an email once I have the final total including payment and address info. Thanks



12/06/01: Neatitems has shipped the towels and I should receive them on Sat. 12/8 and ship them out on the 10th. The total will be $32.60 shipped via USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation. Due to packing variances some may ship out the 2 pound rate but please don't yell at me wanting a dollar back. OK?

Payment is accepted via Paypal or MO. If paying by Paypal please use your checking acct. or paypal funds as I do not want to incur credit card fees. I only have a personal paypal acct. so I don't think I can receive credit card payments anymore anyways. I will be sending out emails to the above mentioned users with my info. 12/07/01: Woohoo! The towels are here. Those that have paid will have theirs shipped on 12/8. Others, get your money in quick before the waiting list grabs them ;) I must say, it feels pretty nice to open up a box with 100 fresh, plush microfibers staring at you. The batch looks great!
 
Ok, looking good so far. A few more responses and I'll go ahead and put the order in today. If I get the order placed today I would probably have them in my hands by Wed, Dec. 5, as they are shipping from Idaho to NC. Once I get them, I will ship all orders the next business day if I'm in receipt of your funds. More details to follow...
 
Do what I am doing BMDuncan - Give them away as gifts!! I bought a hundred myself and have them in tins with some fancy shmancy ribbon thingys to decorate.

Don't feel bad, shipping from neatitems has been a joke latley. It took them 3 day just to send out my order, and now it has been more than a week and I still don't have the towels. :mad: I understand the shipping is free, but having to wait over a week and a half to get stuff is a joke. :down
 
well in that case, can we please increase the order so everyone that was late can still make it? im sure we can get 200 sold easily and with an even better groupbuy discount.



but of course its bmduncan decision, hes doing all the work here for us:up
