Have any changes been made to the formulation of NL recently? I'm interested why some claim to have no scent in their NL, some a nice but short lived cherry scent and me.. well my bottle is very strongly cherry scented.

Why the inconistancies? (I'm giving the other users the benefit of doubt here and taking their claims as true).

What should NL smell like?

Maybe some people have stuffed-up smellers :lmfao Thats why it smells so differenet :dunno

Hehehe Thanks! I thought I was the only one finding the scent fairly strong.

I responded to a thread in another forum saying I liked NL, but found the cherry scent a little strong and two people responded, one said their NL has no scent and another saying the scent was not very strong and didn't last long. I even left the container open for two days and the cherry smell is still there!

I'm just curious, I could understand if we were spliting hairs in describing the strength of the scent, but we're talking two users describing their NL has having no scent compared or strong scent. Go figure :dunno

mine smell like cherries. i just ordered some more i'll post what it smell like when i get it. the scent is pretty strong.
 
Mine smelt like cherries too, but the smell didn't linger after I applied it.
Maybe the people who didn't smell it got broke sniffers :dunno
 
Does the scent or lack thereof affect the cleaning/protection properties of this (or any other) product in the Poorboy's lineup? Or is the good scent just an added bonus? Or am I delving too deep into the family secrets Steve?
 
gee all mine smell like cherries:dunno ..scent is just an added bonus ..we are also getting close to making another batch and are considering a new scent:D

Just my 2 cents Steve .. I'd like to see a no scent, or a very mild fresh scent like the 1z interior products, or a real leather scent like Zaino leather in a bottle used for the new batch. I really like now NL looks (especially when rubbed down with a MF) and the low price compared to 303 and 1Z products; the strong cherry thing just does not do it for me.

not sure what it will be ...or changed at all..

problem with putting a leather scent is for those who don't have a leather interior:dunno

the scent of the EX-P and Natty's has been given a lot of consideration, since i get comment s about them all the time..

one other consideration for you is to dilute Bold N Bright 3:1 ..as it has no scent and it will be very similar in appearance and effectiveness;)

ahhhh..... diluted BNB eh? I'll give it a try.

I hear what you are saying about the leather scent, I'd like it but some may not, but what about a no scent or a fairly neutral fresh scent NL?

To be honest, if I can get BNB to cover well in a matte finish, I'll be happy to use that and Z10. Thanks for the tip!
 
One problem with scented product is that the smell can become trapped in the interior pretty easily and then become overpowering - especially when it is hot. I think we've all bought air fresheners that smelled like a good idea at the time...I do have to say that the smell of NL faded within a day or so after using it...a light scent is definitely best.

Everyone thinks my car still smells new except me (it is 4 months old and I guess I'm just used to it). Right now it smells like 4* Leather Conditioner! Great product BTW.

EX-P would be a nice smell as would something with vanilla.

The 1Z products leave a nice smell that isn't overpowering...IMO the 1Z products don't smell that great when you apply them, but the "after scent" is pretty nice.
