Natty's Paste Wax is cracked, what to do?

I recently purchased some Natty's off a forum member. I think the wax is still good but how do I apply it? The jar is too small for the applicator and is too cracked to try and take it out to apply it to the pad. Do I just have to use the old butter know technique? Is there is a way to pack it together again? Can I let it sit in the sun for a while and hopefully it will melt itself back together? I know wishful thinking.

What can I do?

Sow it together :D

I also have an applicator pad that's bigger than the container... I simply put half of it down, wipe some onto it, then do the other half... push half of it in, and wipe clockwise (or counterclockwise haha) and then do the same for the other half... works just fine

Melting might work as well, but I wouldn't bother because it'll probably just crack again

I used Natty's for the first time on Saturday on the family truckster. It was awesome to apply/remove.

The only thing I'm not sure that helped was applying AW on top of it. That stuff is great, but it seems like the wax itself was slicker.

Plus Natty's blue smells like bubble gum, aw SNAP!

I do love the smell of Nattys Blue for sure!

I take it you are machine polishing, in that case the butter knife technique will probably be your best bet with the situation you are having.

Take a spoon. Heavy plastic or metal will do. Now, use the backside of the spoon and scrape the wax onto the backside of the spoon. Take what you have rubbed on the spoon and spread it on your applicator, pad or whatever. Always make sure the spoon is clean. Worst case if you want, take a old small small pot and put all the wax in it with the spoon. Turn the heat on the stove to half way between medium and low and it will melt fast. AS soon as it melts pour it back into the container.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may try and heat it up. I'm at the point where I don't even want to bother with it but I may as well try.

I have a old tin pot that I use to make mixtures of waxes such as Pin. Sourveran and Pin. Glaze. Low amount of heat required.

No. I stuck a jar of Pim Souveran in the microwave and did not know that it had a o-ring aroung the jar. well a small fire occurred but I was able to put it out right fast.

Can you clarify what you mean by that? Just so I am sure. I pressume you mean use a butter knife to get some out and spread on an applicator or pad?
