Guys,

Carcaredepot has Natty's Blue paste wax on sale for $16.95.

Used it on my black 98 camry and the car a super rich dark black. Really happy with the results. I keep getting complements and some ppl think it s new paint job :D

Also bought other stuff from CCD and the guys there provided excellent communication for questions and great customer service.

Just wanted to share my experience. Definately good ppl there. :)

Good deal! I love this wax (but still have plenty left).

Good price, but $13.28 to ship one jar of wax...no thanks. I can't do business with a company who sticks it to you on shipping like that.

I just wanted to reply to this comment. We do the best we can on the product pricing, and have had some great product pricing in the past. However the cost of shipping is constantly rising. To cover packaging and shipping via UPS to a residential address that $13 (depending on how far you are from us) is very much what it costs. I could see if it was more than that, but it's still realistic and fair. We like to use UPS because we can depend on them more than other carriers. Also to save on shipping - make one order to stock up on your waxes, towels, pads, etc.

With that said for customers in the Midwest we push delivery service through SpeeDee Delivery. On average the cost is half of UPS and the service is even better. One day delivery to eastern Minnesota and Iowa, all of Wisconsin, Illinois (except the city of Chicago), and the St Louis area. Two day delivery for the rest of Minnesota, Iowa, Dakotas, and most of Nebraska.

We are committed to the best service at a fair and honest price.

Thanks for your reply Jon. It's obvious that your customer service it top notch. I also agree that it's a good idea to buy several items at once to offset shipping costs, and if I was I wouldn't hesitate to shop your store.

I just found that in this particular situation, the shipping cost was too high to justify a purchase. Through the UPS site, my particular quote came out much lower than the shipping cost from your site. I would personally rather pay a little extra in product cost, than to feel "squeezed" on shipping.

I appreciate that you took the time to reply.

I agree the cost of shipping is ridiculous these days. It's about 2x what it was 10 yrs ago (for boxes). It's very hard to get under $10 with Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

If I've already placed a large order, it may be a long while before I need a bunch of other products.

I hate needing or (wanting to try) one or two items and shipping is as much or more than what I'm buying.

Ya it's always better to get a couple items to make it worthwhile. But on a positive note I was literally completely surprised at how fast my order came home from CCD. It was like 1 day and I didn't choose express shipping or anything.

I generally make 3 orders per season. Early in the year (like now) I order all samples and so forth I've been wanting to try, along with stocking up on my staple products and consumables.

Mid-Year, I decide if I am going to buy larger sizes of the products I sampled, or stick with my proven items.

Late in the year, I "top-up" on a few items.

The thing that's hurt, is the larger places dropping lines of products I like. I've found myself migrating more and more toward Surf City for my cleaning products, but now I am just buying from them directly. Orders over $50 ship free. That's my new wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, Grime Destroyer, and I'll likely be adding a few more of their products to my rotation this summer like the tire gel. My early spring order was 14 pounds worth of stuff and it shipped free from California.

My summer order of stuff will be mostly PoorBoys's stuff, and I'll try a new wax or two this year, and re-stock microfibers. Probably add a large ONR, and we'll see what's on BOGO come June.

It's a shame to have to shop this way, but shipping costs have dictated a lot of how I am shopping and are really forcing me to use lines of products where I can get many things at once.

On average the cost is half of UPS and the service is even better. One day delivery to eastern Minnesota and Iowa,

Hey thats my backyard.. hmmmmmmmmm what do I need next????

from what i have gathered, the bigger the company, the more the volume, the cheaper their shipping rates are.

definitely a bummer for the smaller companies as well as their customers

natty's paste is some good stuff too, i think i have a can of it in every color(red, white and blue)
