Nattys Blue on Plastic and Rubber?

I went through a search first but found nothing as to what happens to the black plastic and rubber trim if you get nattys on it. With some waxes the trim turns white and I am wondering is Nattys Blue does the same.

3M automotive masking tape is your friend, use it whenever possible. If this is a wax inbetween full details, just take your time and go slow near the trim and control your arm movement.
 
Just be careful applying. If you get some on the molding, I've found a trick to easily remove it. It sounds weird, but spray some leather cleaner / conditioner on a microfiber and wipe it. Comes right off.



I use meguire's leather cleaner & conditioner.
 
ive never heard of using leather cleaner, but any general use interior cleaner should take it right off. I use Meg's quick interior detailer on my door panels and it does a really good job of taking whatever is on there off quickly and easily. I've also heard great things about poorboy's trim restorer. Plastic is plastic, it should work in your situation also.
 
I have used Meg's #80 (basically just oils) to get it off trim. Doesn't get it completely off, but gets most of it if you do happen to get some on there. I think basically anything with oils in it will start taking it off, I just used 80 because thats what I had on hand.
 
I haven't had Nattys stain my trim. :confused:

Maybe I'm just not leaving it on long enough for it to stain. I use PB's Trim Restorer whenever I deal with wax stains.
 
Today I used a mister clean eraser and some APC 1-4 to clean up the door trim on our 99 BMW 740. I did it after I washed the area, then I wash the area again after. Looks great!
