Ok, so I should have taken a "before" shot!
I panicked when I saw it! A 2 inch long scratch along the corner of the fender on my S4, right below the highlight in the picture. You could barely feel the scratch with your fingernail.
The procedure was:
1. Meguiars sanding block 1500 grit
2. Wet sandpaper 2000 grit with erasor backer
3. 3M Rubbing Compound Fine Cut/ foam pad on Porter Cable Orbital
4. 3M Finesse It II/ foam pad on Porter Cable orbital
5. Pinnacle Paint Cleanser/ foam pad by hand
6. Zaino Z1, Z6, Z5x2
The results were, luckily, perfect! No evidence of any damage at all.
