May 29, 2006 #3 M mblgjr New member Nail polish is generall used for touching up rock chips. Kind of an easy way to do it since it dries fast, hard and shiny. Generally lasts ok. Nail polish remover has acetone in it, which is ok for a tar remover, if its all you have and the wife has a bottle on your trip out of town.
