:headbang I purchased a mytee 6 gal extractor recently and wanted to let everyone here know what I think of this product . this thing kicks major booty !!!

If you are serious about doing top quality work in a fraction of the time of scrubbing by hand you need to get this extractor . I spent over $1,300 bucks and this machine is worth every penney! I love it!

I was going to buy a cheepie but was advised to get this machine. it has inline heater and the 6 gallon capacity so i dont worry about running out of water in the middle of a job. also heats to 210 degrees . i could see the steam coming out of the upholstery. when i emptied the dirty water i was blown away . normally i would have scrubbud this dirt right back into the seats and carpet. I give it an A+ :mohawk
 
Sounds great - i would love to have one just for my personal use - but i dont know much about them other than the fact that they give great results. I was wodnering if you could give me a brief description of how that process works!! Thanks!!
 
I was told by the technicians at rightlook to spray their carpet extractor stuff on the area to be cleaned then scrub with a soft brush then use extractor to remove product. they said not to put solution into the machine itself. i put some fragrance in the water because theyre stuff doesnt have much of a scent. I use p&s products and will use something from them when my other stuff runs out
 
Using any type of cleaner in the machine will cause a buildup/clogging of the system.
Plain water will also leave mineral deposits in the lines. I run a gallon of white vinegar thru mine weekly. You can see the junk being spit out.

Preventive maintenance is a good thing.

I am thinking to buy the same one HP60, but have a question:
can extractor burn vinyl or leather, if water accidently spilledon it?
and is this unit to big for mobile detailing? (I mean generator and all that)

thanx for the tip buffit. dime i dont think it would hurt anything if you wipe it off quickly. it seems ok for mobile. im kind of mobile . im working out of a truck accessory store on saturdays so i load up the truck and take everything to the shop then back home. i havent dealt with a generator yet but it calls for a 20 amp plug in and it really needs it because it keeps tripping my 15 amp breakers in the garage. going to deal with that real quick like!!! hope that helps.
 
Here in Sweden we can use the HP60 on a 10 amp fuse. (We have 230V/50Hz) :dancin
And I use this extractor often.. My hands are hot!
 
yea, but your wattage is still the same. you don't have more than 10 amp brakers, unless you have 3 phase circuit. then it 380 volts.

OK, We have about 240 Volts here in Sweden and my 10 amp fuse dont crack... net yet!
But in the US, you have 110 Volts and 20 amp. fuse... Hmm 110x20= 2200 Watts
And behind the HP60 is written something about 3600 Watts...
How can that work?
 
OK. i think, if i am not mistaken 3600 (starting watts) - with period of maybe - 0.3 or 0.2 seconds.
2400 watts (working).
in your country 240x10=2400
US when it says 110, 115, 120 - it is all 120, so 120x20=2400.

I think this is how it works. I am not a pro. :rolleyes:
 
Has anyone used their Mytee for cleaning their living room Carpets???
And where can i get a good wand for that purpose?
