My Zaino'd Tundra on 20's

GlossyTundra

Tractor Detailer
This is my 2003 Toyota Tundra. It sits on 20" Enkei wheels on Hankook tires. Exhaust flows through a Borla cat-back system. Sorry for the crappy pics, still learning how to take pics. Everything seems to turn out shaky or dark or to bright.

It wears

1. 3 coats of Zaino Z2

2. Mothers power polish on all metal including wheels

3. BnB on the tires

4. AA detailers advantage in the wells and bed and undercarrage

Thanks for lookin

truck looks nice... real nice. I just traded my Tundra in, but had it for a while and had nothing but good luck with it. Alpine hu's are the awesome. I had a cda-9815 in my tundra and loved it.

the paint, wheels and everything look great. good luck w/ the truck...even though you won't need it.

Wow!

Excellent choice on wheels. They fit the truck perfect!

In for more pics of the garage with the bird in it ;).

Thanks guys, helps to get good feedback when you do something to your ride. The "bird" in the background is a 1955 chevy, I did a thread last week I think it was. I did not win anything at the car show with it, but I had fun, and it had to have the cleanest set of tires there.

Anyway, thanks for the compliments

I was way off, sorry Brandon.

No problem :xyxthumbs I am not very good with old cars, so if it wasent ours, I would probably get it wrong to. I will have the garage and '55 pics up either later on tonite or in the morning. The garage really gets it's use in the next couple of months(HEAT!!!!)

i like your taste in headunits ;) car looks great an i like the mod

Thanks for the h/u compliment. Now, does anybody here know how to get the most out of the Bass Engine? Sounds fine with everything on 0, but I know it can get just a little better with tuning.

Brandon

brandon, haven't looked @ the settings on an alpine in a month or 2 , but remember that turning the gain down on the amp will help @ higher volumes. If im not mistaken, that unit has an electronic crossover and eq, and I would proabably turn off the eq on the amp, and use the controls on the head unit.

Depending on the type of sub box u have, cross a sealed @ about 80 hz, and if you have the owners manual for your kicker's, it will tell you the cross point w/ boz combo.

rockford fosgates site has an awesome faq and general box building and amp section.

the octave settings on the "low" control the sub, 1 being the sharpest curve and 4 being the highest.

I had 1 polk 10" in sealed box, w/ an alpine amp bridged @ about 160 watts.

I would try turning the gain way down on the amp, and the crossover off on the amp 1st, and use the crossover settings on the head unit @ different levels and crossover slopes. That bass engine really empahsises the bass , and starting @ low amp gains will help u tune it in.

The h/u only has bass engine(no x-overs) the main problem i am having is that you can adjust 60, 80, 100, 120hz on the bass side and 7.5, 10.0, 12.5, 15000hz on the treble side. When I first put it in, I could adjust them independantly(from -8to+8db) now they will all go together, Example, Adjust 60hz to +2, and all other freq goes with it. Wired. Tried calling alpine at 3:00 eastern time and they said they close at 5:00 pacific time and to try back later. It's ok tho, still sounds 1,000,000,000,000,999times better than the stock h/u. Im happy

Here are some more pics of the garage, my truck and the "bird" :p

1955 Chevy

We used to have a '55 2 door Bel-Air. Absolutely one of the sexiest cars ever designed. Total classic. My brother and I dream to one day rebuild a '55 Nomad. My dad used to have a '57 Nomad and we drove that thing to I don't know how many Classic Chevy Club conventions all over the U.S. One time from TX to PA for a show.

Great lookin truck. I love the garage, too!. Out of curiosity, and assuming you don't mind, what did the rim and tire package set you back? I'm shopping and still seeing what's out there and general price ranges. Thanks

The rims were 800 bought directly from Enkei of Florida, and the tires (size 295/45/20) were $200 from a local tire shop.

Thanks for all the compliments on both the truck and the garage. I can take credit for the truck and the rims, but dad has to take credit for the garage. I enjoy it greatly tho. SERIES-1 That is a 9851 in the truck. Very nice h/u for the price. Alpine had one above it in price, but it had the Glide touch system(dont like it) but it had bass engine pro(x-overs).
