After seeing the awesome job GSRstilez did on Craigster's Azure Blue Mach1 (you can read about it HERE ) I just had to do my Azure Blue Mach1 too. :p

Process:

Wash - Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds Car Wash

Polish - Menzerna P085RD w/white polishing pad

Glaze - Clearkote's Red Moose Machine Glaze w/white polishing pad

Sealant - Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket x2, PakShak MF Applicator Pad

Tires & Wheels - cleaned with Eagle One A2Z Wheel Cleaner

Wheelwells - cleaned with Poorboys All Purpose Cleaner 10:1 dilution

Tires - dressed with WheelWax Extreme Black Tire Dressing

Wheels - Klasse AIO and SG

Black Plastic Trim - dressed with Black Again Exterior Trim Restorer

Engine - Wiped down with a wet terry cloth. Plastic parts dressed with a little Black Again Exterior Trim Restorer.

The Black Again Exterior Trim Restorer is a new product for me. I really like it, it's quite easy to use, and the look is a deeper black, as compared to Poorboy's Trim Restorer, which has a brighter shine. I'm not sure on the durability as I just started using it.

Anyways, on to the pictures. Enjoy! :wavey

Totally wet (literally!)!

Photo taken yesterday around noon. Very little clouds, washed out the paint, but not too badly.

Taken today, more clouds in the sky.

Great job on a beautiful car! The FMJ looks amazing.

Quick question: On the hood in front of the cowl intake, is the matte black section a "decal" (for lack of a better word)? Is special care required for it? Do you polish and seal over it? I have always been curious.

thanks all! :)

Sean - yeah, the weather has been pretty nice for us, a little humid and hot. ;)

John N. - that black stripe is a decal. i try not to polish it, but do seal and wax it.
