R on

That looks like my shop MR. P&S

HOw do you like the extractor? That's my next purshase they have it at P&S for 1200.00 and he will give me 90 days same as cash if I buy it from him. That's pretty hard to pass up, plus if it goes down he will give me a free lender

thanx alot . i spent many hours trying to get it right,me and a graphics designer , when she told me she charges $75.00 . hr i almost walked out but i wanted to put out a professional image and i went with her . it was $450.00 for design 1,000 cards and 500 brochures pre folded. i think it was money well spent .:naughty :cool

That business card almost looks like a large wall sign by the picture,
Actually it would look really good as a large baner. Looks like you have some good stuff together
:tup

i really like it. i can roll it around the car also it gives me a place to hang all those bottles ..and keep all the squeeze bottles. the trays built into the top are good for keeping little stuff like razor blades and brushes ect .. plus as you can see i hang dry my wash mitt and chamois . $35.00 at pep boys .. also did you get that no rub polish?

That's about right for a good designer, give or take. That's my sideline and what I do to offset the costs of things like my PC's and Pinnacles. Been doing it since the mid-nineties.

that sounds like a profitable side job.. although you do earn your money .. the lady that did mine put in extra time for free because she wanted to help me get my biz off to a good start. i gave her a break on a detailing job ..

Yup, like alot of other work, the graphics jobs can involve a give and take relationship. I've often put in alot of extra "costfree" effort to ensure I provided the client exactly what they wanted (within reason). It's all about establishing positive rapport with your clientele, etc., etc., etc. Leads to good, solid business relationships and excellent references.

I THOUGHT ID BRING THIS THREAD BACK .. weve got lots of new members and i thought id show them a home based shop

Your brochure looks good, but i have a question, $75 an hour and the back is empty. Do you just unfold them when you give them away?
I think it would be a lot easier to put it on smaller piece of paper and give them up that way?
What do you think?
But i really like the card and all that cleaning stuff you got.

they have the graphics from the card on the front and our mission statement on the rear . im almost out and im going to make some changes.. elimenate some packages ..
