My severly neglected Mustang v. see what clay can do!

J.J.

DEEP & WET
I went home for a little visit the past two weeks to find the cover I had placed on my Mustang had blown off. I left the car sitting behind my parents storage barn unders some trees, therefore you can imagine the horror I experienced upon arrival. I told my mother I wanted her to begin driving the car once or twice a week, so I needed to whip it into a resepectable condition in order for her to do so. The clearcoat is peeling severly, therefore I didn't want to take any machines to her. THis is simply a testament to what clay can do.

Process:

Dawn Wash

Clay Magic Clay (this stuff last forever)

EO A2Z on rims

Nothing on tires

Befores: :nervous2:

hirosh, did mean on the car or the baby. :) Just kidding.

With Aloha,

my guest would be that the baby got some johnson's baby super polymer baby oil that not only provides protection, but keeps the baby's skin feeling super soft for a long time. :LOLOL

You guys are hillarious!

Hirosh: No, I didn't apply any protection, but I did clean out a nice spot in the garage for it to sit. Like I mentioned before, the clear coat is peeling severly. The pictures do no justice to the severity of the problem. In about 4 years, I will begin a full restoration of the vehicle. This will include a brand new coat fo paint, leather seats, and new stereo system.

This car has a great deal of sentimental value. It was the car my mother bought for me on my 16 birthday. It was brand new with a big white bow on top the day we drove into the car lot. It is a great memory! Too bad it's just a six banger though! Does anyone know of any modifications to a 6 cylinder motor?

I do, drop a 5.0 V8 into it. Seriously, the car looks like a 94-95 and the swap would be relatively "easy". Although I think Vortech makes, or used to make a supercharger for V6 Stangs.

Yeah, I could do that, but I'd be a little worried about the tranny and rear end (it is a 5 speed if that matters). I'm not sure the 6 bangers were built for the troque produced by the V8. I;m not looking to turn into a 5.0, although that would be nice, but a little more power is always fun. The supercharger sounds like a viable option. I will look into that. THanks for the info!

Oh yeah, you're right, it's a 95'
