Last week I received my sample bottle of Nanolex Reactivating Shampoo in the mail and threw it in my bag in the trunk on the way to work.
I wasn’t planning on doing a proper review till during this week sometime but I was out waiting to meet up with a buddy and while killing some time, I drove past a DIY self wash bay and thought to myself.. hmm.. i have this shampoo with me and some supplies, let me go see what this is about.

Review:
Product is dark yellow / gold. Seems to be quite watery in the bottle when shaking it around a bit.
Smell to me is well clean, not unlike a lot of other soaps. Doesn’t seem to have any added aromas like fruity or sweet etc.
Subject product used on - My Titanium Silver BMW 325i
Car condition - I’d say 3 weeks without a wash.
I poured out about at least an ounce of liquid into a 5 gallon bucket and filled to about 3.5 gallons.
I used a typical microfiber shaggy wash mitt. This one had a scrubber type backing which I do not typically use.

After an initial rinse down, you can see the boot lid there is not so much beading - this was also similar on the roof. There was some beading on the hood but i think i went bananas with like 5 layers of Ultima Paint Guard Plus back in April.
The shampoo foamed pretty good in the bucket while blasting water from the pressure wand. During the wash, the foam was strong in the beginning but sort of faded by the time I completed one side of the car.
Lubricity was decent, not the best i’ve noticed, but not the worst either. Probably mid range.
Side note - I currently use in my rotation of soaps - CarPro Reset / Gtechniq Gwash / Optimum Car Wash / Sonax car wash / Turtle wax - yes the baby blue bottle stuff in the stores
The shampoo rinsed away pretty cleanly without any fanfare.

You can see on the hood and deck lid, that there was pretty good beading. I guess this is a good for maintaining and extending your lsp.

I’m not sure exactly the intent of this shampoo but from the little I’ve read and from what I understand, it seems this is supposed to ‘reactivate’ your Coating or LSP. Not sure if this is some type of a 'wash n' wax' but it seemed to cleaned well and add something to the finish.
The end result was a clean looking car
with some level of re-added protection ...what can I say. I will do some more testing on some other cars - dirtier than mine, both coated and non-coated/waxed and update here.
Thanks again to Gil @ Nanolex US for the sample provided.
