My 1996 Carrera 4S celebrated it's 15th birthday a few weeks ago. Spent the day giving the old girl some pampering. Sorry the pics are a bit dark.

Happy Birthday Mr. Porsche. You don't look a day over 3!

I think Brad needs a special birthday gift for you. I know! :idea

You know, Ben, that could actually be considered an insult. It looks more like "not a day over factory fresh" if you ask me! :D

No Factory fresh would mean swirls and marring by the minimum wage guy that details for them. :biggrin1:

Nice car. Have a Dr. friend that had one almost identical. Did it come from Memphis?

BTW...You should celebrate the occasion by taking your car to dinner

Dinner = Mustang if you know what I mean

No, it came from Colorado in stock form. I added the Euro nose, RS wing, adjustable coil-over suspension and other mods over the years.

The car is pretty much a test bed for different products, but this Spring I added a few layers of Zaino Z2 Pro. It gets petted a lot. Can't walk by without feeling the slickness.

Oh admit it, you all feel up your cars too!

Brad B.- No surprise you're keeping hit so nice :D

That's the one you did the airbrush touchup on, right?

Oh, and you're selling the 2002?!? First the XK and now that...soon you'll have only modern stuff! I still remember when you floated the idea of selling the S4..almost called you about that one!

That's the one. What a memory you have!

Yea, my desire for new cars goes in waves. The 2002 was hardly getting driven so I halfheartedly decided to test the waters and sell it. Of course after doing so I have driven it a lot since and enjoy it. So we'll see what happens.

The S4 is probably next to go. I really want a small sport ute or crossover and will need the S4 for collateral. The wife isn't keen on adding to the fleet.

Brad B.- Well, the way you wielded that Paasche was pretty memorable!

Yeah, I sympathize with the way some cars don't get used...you start wondering if maybe they need a new home (for all sorts of reasons). And yeah, it's sure possible to uhm....accumulate too many; I keep thinking I oughta sell the RX-7 and now I might *have* to so the Jag can come home.

If you do move the S4 I'll be interested to hear what you replace it with. SO many little SUV type vehicles have very little usable room inside, despite their size and (supposed) design
