My Poorboy's Integra & a Wolfgang'd Sexy Lexy Droptop

First up - My 1996 Acura Integra GSR

When I went to the Poorboy's World Detailing Meet two weekends ago I experimented with some new products and ended up doing:

SSR2 - on hood/front bumper/fenders
SSR1 - Whole Car
EX - Whole Car

Since then, I've been busy detailing customer's cars and the weather has sucked other than that. Currently I am at EX x 3. I wanted to post this before I started on my Natty's run. I will be layering Natty's til the shine level doesn't increase anymore (I hear about 3 layers) :D

Right now, I feel the car is deep and wet. The reflectivity isn't as high as other products, but the wetness level is pretty high and the red got deeper and deeper with each coat of EX. This is what I like for red, a deep and wet look that holds it own in direct sunlight... so I am very happy so far.

On the wheelwells, tires, and rims (yes rims), I have Poorboy's Bold 'N Bright.

It's Poorboy's Mania for me :D

Next up - 2002 Lexus SC430

No, it's not Deanski's :lol

This thing was a mess believe it or not. Interior was full of dog hair and dust. Exterior was chipped and scuffed on front bumper, sideskirts, and around wheel wells. Every single rim was curbed bad...So sad :(

Anyways, I got there and the sky was gray. Halfway through the interior, it downpoured for 30 mins and was gray the rest of the time.

For the interior, Oxy mix for the carpets, Woolite:Water to clean all wood trim, leather, vinyl, rubber, and plastic. 303 to protect rubber, vinyl, plastic and Lexol to condition the leather.

On the exterior, my final processes were:

-QEW
-Wolfgang Pre Cleaner via Rotary and LC Polishing Pad @ 1000 rpm
-Wolfgang Sealant by hand

-VM on windows, front grille, rims, lighting, and emblems
-AA in the wheel wells
-Bold n Bright on the tires

Sorry about the lighting. The sky was disgusting and I guess my camera didn't like it too much. I have to learn how to use the settings better.

Enjoy!

nice job on the 430.... :bigups
I'm not suprised that thing was a bigger mess.
I know the owner, I used to work for her. :bigscream
She took her dog with her everywhere even in the office!
maybe you'll get a chance to do her Ram P/U

jaybs95: You scared me a little bit there at first. That is her...LoL. He dog always attacks my ankles. I had to clean out the dog holder thingy inside too. I'm scheduled to do their Ram and Excursion pretty soon, just after summer she said. Nice lady BTW. What happened if you don't mind me asking?

She is a nice lady.
There is a difference between "Doing work" for her and "working" for her.
If you want to know more just PM me.
I don't mind you asking

THANK GOD THAT'S NOT MINE!!:lmfao Pinstripe AHHHH :hurl

Anyway, as much as the white interior is a PITA on mine, I get more complements on it. Back seat ALWAYS gets a fine dust when top is down.

I got to view the IntegRED at the detail day and I left prior to when it was fully done and even THEN it was B R I G H T !

JEEZ, How much you payin' LILCO to keep it lit? :-p

Nice and bright that Integra! I wouldn't change a thing!

Proves that Poorboy's products work VERY well.

Regards,
Deanski

Yeah I have to mention...

The first thing I get on my next car is a clear bra. Dino's car is in a TON better shape than this one and I know the bra has helped it stay there. The main problem areas I saw are where Dino has his bra applied.

Also, I worked on a couple XK Jaguars (XK8 convert and XKR convert) and I have to say that the Lex IMO is a better car. I think the fit and finish is better, it's more plush and luxurious and the lines are absolutely gorgeous. The paint is a realy pleasure to buff out as well. Now I didn't really drive any of these cars, but as far as fit and finish and looks, SC430 > XK Series

Thanks for the compliments Dino. Rims go back on next week. :)

Super Job!

Both cars look awesome!

I hope you don't mind me adding my experience and picture within your post?

I did an SC430 and it was a Blackberry color!

Beautiful Color with Tan Interior!

I used Zymol Concours and it came out so nice!

Sorry for the indoor picture, but it was cold and snowing the day I detailed it, and I didn't want to take it out and destroy the hard work!
