Is not a trash can!!

While walking up to my truck the other day, I noticed some kids throw some fast food bags into my truck bed. HELLO!!! this is NOT a trash can. I'm amazed by how much trash I find in my pickup bed.

me too.. every now and then ill find a dunkin donuts cup . in the back of my truck or some garbage... sucks but what can you do.

Beemer, where is your truck parked? I have a few trash bags that wont fit in my trashcan and taking them to the dump is too expensive...... :lol2:

I've got the game on! We're not exactly on fire, but we're smoldering! :D We're moving the ball, but struggling a bit to put points on the board.

I had a camper shell on my last truck but every time I wanted to haul any thing tall or sand stone whatever I had to remove it.

Took 4 people to lift it off. Tonneau cover works much better for me I can change it to haul a refrigerator by myself in a minute. :bigups

I put a lock on the tailgate handel and you must drop the tailgate in order to unlatch and roll the cover.

I plan on adding a tonneau cover for the exact same reason.
Yep every time you put something in the back when you get where you are going it is in the front and I had to crawl in and get it.

With the cover I just roll it up much faster and easier when you have a bad back and knees.

If I ever bought a shell it would be one that has the doors that open on each side as well as the back.

I just put a shell on mine and it does have its drawbacks for sure.
But you store your work equipment, right? For situations like that despite the drawbacks a topper would seem a necessity for weather protection and at least a small deterrent for theft.

This is the shell i put on, it has tool boxes in both sides. This needs to be a detail rig but for now its got to run ac calls.

That is what I'm talking about.
Don't know how much extra money they cost but it would be worth it.
This is the ticket for nearly any business truck regular shell with just opening on the back I would not buy they are a big PITA

That is a sharp looking rig :bigups

That weather looks very similar to what we've had here...cold...wet. But you're truck somehow doesn't look too dirty. :)

When I had my truck, I bought a camper shell to run a truck mount setup for the detailing business. It was a PITA too. I looked online for a few ideas. What I came up was this....
Tilt A Topper: Tilt-A-Topper: Home
It was too pricey for me, so I tried to fab up something of my own. If I had the time to do it, I would have been able to finish the project, but I got divorced and sold everything off...

I've never had this problem and I live in NY lol and go to a Community college hmmmm :hmmm: do you have a sign saying throw your garbage here :lol2:

Check out "SLIMLINE" they make hard covers with working compartments. Great for work trucks, bunker, turnout gear, its the way to go. State guys here have them they look great and work great. Only problem is the weekend work will not happen once the cover is in place.:passout::passout::howdy
