This past Sunday I was in the middle of polishing a 02 Honda Civic (Tan) with some DACP and my PC started to cut on & off and then just die.

Lucky for me I had did the roof and hood first. It die on the trunk. So I just had to polish the sides by hand so I switch to Medallion Paint Cleaner for that. Much easier to work with by hand then DACP. I then wax it by hand and the car did come out great but took about 2 hours more than normal. (I had forgotten how hard it is to polish by hand)

Now I have to bring my PC to the PC hospital, its only a year old and maybe 30 cars/trucks on it. :(

I was scare I would never see my PC again but . . . . . . .

the Dr said it was just couple of broken wires inside and it will make a complete recovery. It sould be back home today. :bounce

My Dad is a electrical guru and he looked at it and is fixing it. :xyxthumbs

I think the standard warranty is one year and the time you ship it back and forth the summer would be over. Maybe its not a bad idea to get a back up one of these days. :nixweiss

My PC hasn't gotten quite the use most everyone else's has, but I learned something interesting about it... it doesn't like sawdust+moisture!

We used the PC to sand some wood, and I was pretty sure I had cleaned it up. Used it on a somewhat chilly afternoon, and left it in my trunk overnight. Next morning? No workie. Turns out that if you open the screw at the back, you can slide that whole black cover off and get to stuff. Some compressed air and a pencil eraser to get gunk off the switch contacts, and she was good as new!

Green, glad to hear your PC is on the mend. She'll be back on the job in no time! :xyxthumbs
