My pathfinder hood!

DEEP & WET
I'm making my first attempt at downloading pictures. I apologize if I missed the practice thread, but here is a sample of the car/ hood I will be working on soon.

Find the picture you want to use and right click on the picture itself, a window will pop up, then click on Properties, and then highlight and copy the URL. Come back to your post (Reply area of course) and click on the IMG button, a box will appear, paste your copied URL and click OK. Done.

That's what I did above. It just shows the link... like above. Have I used the wrong URL?

EDIT: Ahhh, I have mastered the art. Thank-you!

What year did they come out with the pinstripe edition?:D

:D It's just dirty. The way the air runs over the truck causes the rain water to streak like that. Amazingly, the paint isn't terribly swirled, although it's hard to tell with the pinstripes

This thread was meant to practice posting pictures. I just wanted to take the before pictures and practice posting pics.

That's the strangest thing... unless you had some type of diffuser on their, I don't get how the air is cauing that to happen. Is the fireproof panel under the hood glued on? If so, perhaps that's the glue patter which could be causing it happen. Kind of like the dust shadows on ceilings where the drywall is fix to the studs.

I think the hood pad (insulation) might be ribbed, so some parts of the hood get more engine heat than others. Just a guess.

Well, you people are begining to worry me! Is this going to be a problem. I assure you, with a little elbow grease, everything comes off just fine... nice and black. I will say, the truck has very little wax on it. There is absolutely no beading with water application.
