Poorboys Rules!
Hello everyone. It's been a while. I just recently sold my 92 GMC Sierra to get into this 08 Fusion SE.
I've got lots of plans for this new ride, just need time and money to make it all happen. My brother sold me some 18" wheels that need tires, plus I've got a set of 20's that are in good shape, so I may throw those on temporarily so I'm not rolling completely stock.
Plans call for Vogtland springs, or quite possibly SC coil overs as well as tinting the rear taillights red, maybe a front lip, window tint, get my system installed, and who knows from there.
This car was, in my opinion, a rare find. She's only got 48,966 miles on her. I had been searching and most older Fusions had upwards of 85k on them. I would have liked to have found a V6, but when this one came up and I looked at and drove it, I just couldn't pass it up. Plus my old pickup was getting around 11mpg and this baby is already averaging 21.7, so it's a win already. It's got power everything, sunroof, black interior, pretty much everything I wanted.
So, the first step is a full-on detail to bring her to life. Planning on spending all day Sunday and Monday making her shine properly. Tonight, she's getting a bath and that will give me a chance to get intimate with her every scuff and mark, which luckily there are very few of. Overall the finish is fairly decent.
