Its 1989 560SEC with 88k I pay $10k for it. I have a list of mods to do and repairs but I guess that whats fun about cars. So far I got the car lower with h&r springs and tinted the windows.Next I want to get new 17" or 18" RH wheels 10" wide in the back, first gear start and upgrade the exhaust.

Very nice, I saw one this weekend in blue. Mercedes is just one of those cars that stands the test of time very well. Enjoy it.

Nice find! That thing is a creampuff. I love the coupes.

What is first gear start?

IIRC, auto trannies from MB start off in 2nd gear. That makes it a lot smoother when you start out from a stop.

those windows are WAY too dark man... looks goofy!

I am not sure why the windows look so dark maybe because it was overcast when I took the pictures but there legal tint for Idaho.

ohhh alright.. if they're legal they couldn't be too dark!!! just the lighting... i remember my dad had that car when i was younger!!!! nice one, i used to love driving with him in iti

I detailed quite a few of these last year, and a 91 last week. The car is awesome. Powerful with great road feel, and elegant inside to boot. Do not let these big body Benz ever sit more than a few days without running, it will drive really hard until the battery recharges. I just sold my 1993 500 SEL about 3 month ago. I miss her. :(

nice, but 10 grand to much for somethig that old

I could put 300k on this car and it will still drive and feel like new. The suggested retail price of this car was $81,620.00 back in 1989.

yup... these old benzes are tanks. I have uncles and aunts with mid 80's S classes and they're still running strong till this day.
