Hey guys, no before pictures as I don't let my car get too swirled as I'm an autopian :wavey
complete process was:
decontamination:
wash 2bm, duragloss 901
clay meg's white (clay was almost clean, after 8 months of contamination)
wheels/tires:
same 2bm
various brushes
advanced auto tire cleaner
mother's fx tire dressing - I REALLY like this stuff, impressed for OTC
Polishing:
Obsessive Detail light polish white 5.5 inch pad
lsp:
meg's #7 show car glaze
natty's blue x2
during:
after wash after polishing:
after polishing/no lsp:
i love how it's hard to tell where paint ends and wall begins
after meg's #7 glaze and 1 coat of nattys' blue:
these are a week after polishing - 1 more coat of natty's blue:
1 lonely bead of water ;-)
the car used to have 5 coats of pinnacle souveran paste on it, it was def. deep and had TONS of flake pop - i was ready for something different, the glaze/nb mutes the flake A LOT, but it sure does make it super wet looking.
also, i cant remember if i've posted pictures of the car after the new wheels yet, but i recently put those bullitts on it. they're 17x9 up front and 18x10 out back - wrapped in 255/40/17 and 295/35/18 bfg kdw nt. i might get 275/40/17 up front in the near future because the 255s aren't wide enough, IMO
let me know what ya think!
