Hey guys, no before pictures as I don't let my car get too swirled as I'm an autopian :wavey

complete process was:

decontamination:

wash 2bm, duragloss 901

clay meg's white (clay was almost clean, after 8 months of contamination)

wheels/tires:

same 2bm

various brushes

advanced auto tire cleaner

mother's fx tire dressing - I REALLY like this stuff, impressed for OTC

Polishing:

Obsessive Detail light polish white 5.5 inch pad

lsp:

meg's #7 show car glaze

natty's blue x2

the car used to have 5 coats of pinnacle souveran paste on it, it was def. deep and had TONS of flake pop - i was ready for something different, the glaze/nb mutes the flake A LOT, but it sure does make it super wet looking.

also, i cant remember if i've posted pictures of the car after the new wheels yet, but i recently put those bullitts on it. they're 17x9 up front and 18x10 out back - wrapped in 255/40/17 and 295/35/18 bfg kdw nt. i might get 275/40/17 up front in the near future because the 255s aren't wide enough, IMO

let me know what ya think!

I'm surprised. That color doesn't really look like Redfire. Maybe i'm spoiled as to only see it in sunlight, so at night, it looks different.

Awesome job 8banger :2thumbs:

Do you think Laser Red and Torreador Red could be the same mix?

I always thought they looked very very close, almost to the point of being the same thing.

I think Terreador Red is darker...

ah, you're right. it doesn't look too much like redfire in any of the pictures. esp. the post polish/pre lsp pictures, it looks more orange than anything. i have yet to get any sun shots after the polishing. this weekend if the weather is good, ill get some direct sun shots and the car will look completely different. I have plenty of direct sun shots with the old wheels and souveran as the lsp, but well, it's a different look - lol.

also, this is a 70k mile, 6 year old DD that sits outside 24/7

im still kinda split on the nuba vs. synthetic look...i'm thinking i like the depth nuba has to offer better....on this color anyhow
