i've just done my first polishing with a rotary on my dad's vw touareg
i was scared of it because it's black and it's not mine, but i think it came out very well..especially considering it's my first time(i've done some test on my car before
)
I used:
3M Fast cut Plus->polishing(aggressive) pad
3M Extra fine polish->fine polishing pad
3M Ultrafina SE->extra fine waved pad
This products are wonderful!
The only one that is a little bit hard to use is the first one, but it takes out defects and leaves a nice finish! The ultrafina...wow is a pleasure to use!
Ok now some shots:
How it was before (you cant see much from the photos but trust me it was bad)
the half hood done
the whole hood done
for now i've done just the hood...it takes me 1 and a half hour to do it, it's too big!
It's not perfect, for me it's a 90% correction..maybe for you less!
