Ok guys I have read enough and seen enough pic’s to try this my self.

I will put my new PC to the test on my Black Camaro 2000 SS this Saturday.

I have a couple of questions. I am a zaino user and will probably stick to it because of its durability. (2 years 8 coats and still looks good) Here is what I will do and than I’ll ask the question. Wash, Clay, than SMR with white foam fist if scratches are stubborn I’ll go yellow. Dawn wash, inspect and redo as needed. Reapply zaino as directed Z5 w/zfx.

My questions are should I use a glaze if I still see swirls and is there a glaze I can pick up at a local store that dose not contain wax or carnauba available? Since its Saterday that I will do this no online. Will this get me where I want to go? (Totally swirl free) like it was 2 years ago. I will post pics from new, present and after when I'm done.

Thanks I am a newbe and I got to say I love this place.

Here is my new intake but notice the swirls worst part is nose this was its state before I detailed:

After detail image will come after I wash the car it rained on it. I can say this, 97% of swirls are gone but all the scratches remain.

Its hard to get the defects on camara.

Sorry for the delay either I had no time or it rained.

What I did: dawn wash, clay, SMR white foam pad, rewash dawn.

Did not impress me so I pulled the yellow pad out and re applied SMR. I still have scratches that cannot be felt with the finger nail.

I found using the PC was not as hard as I thought once I got used to the breakdown period for the SMR it was easy.

All Pics are 10 Min old.I still have scratches :nixweiss

I'm at work so I get interrupted a lot with work stuff.

The question is should I redo the car? Same products or different products? Am I taking years of clear coat off by redoing this process? I think I am headed in the right direction just need a little help from the pro's.

Thanks and sorry for being a pest I just want that perfect shine.

:)

Any pure glaze would just be oils filling the scratch and would prevent Zaino from bonding, so that is out of the question.

Do you only have a few random scratches or more swirls. You might try some spot treatment with a scratch remover, or if you wish, you could spot treat with a stronger swirl mark remover. How visible are these scratches? It's hard for me to suggest going to something more abrasive...

Its like you see them in the sunlight and at night only under certain light conditions. The hood, nose and spoiler are the worst.

I can't seem to capture it on camera unless someone has a suggestion so I can show you.

They drive me nuts because for a year I know they were not there.
