My first order, hows it look? And some help

CG citrus wash

CG Medium Clay

CG Light Clay

CG black forever trim

Danese Pure Polish

DWG

Here is where I still need help deciding

Danase paint sealer

or

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

or

NXT2

or

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax

Looks good -- You will probably only need to use one of the clays,.. but can use both if you like. Polish is good, DWG is excellent glaze.

I use NXT 2.0 -- I just like the stuff, but the polish and DWG is what gives me the extra shine. Before I machine polished my vehicle the NXT 2.0 would give it immense shine, after polish, the NXT 2.0 did nothing but seal. But is because the finish was perfect.

That lead me to get some DWG to add a bit 'extra' post polish.

I would go with Danase or NXT 2.0 -- Either won't do you wrong. Three different people will tell you three answers on the three products you have chosen, basically they are all good. I just prefer Danase and NXT over Wolfgang. I'm not crazy about Wolfgang.. because a few things I've used by them haven't had the durability I thought they would.

Take some before and afters when you do it :)

If you're going to use a sealant and then the NXT, you will not get good durability from the sealant as NXT contains a mild cleaner in it that will diminish and or remove the sealant. :sadpace:

Use one or the other, but not both.

Also putting down a oil based glaze under a sealant is not wise for durability either, as the oils wash away so does the sealant. :sadpace:

If you're going to prep the surface for a sealant or wax, it should be oil and sylicone free, just use an abrasive polish and not a pure glaze polish.

After, you wash, clay, then polish the car with an abrasive none oily polish, rewash and dry it, then seal it, if you just absolutely have to put a topper over the sealant use a carnuaba or something that has no cleaners in it.

Doh I lost my post from DNS error.

Anyhow,.. Josh:

I am about to use DWG...

With NXT 2.0.

Will either strip the other off?

Basically how can it be applied, should it be applied if in conjunction with NXT 2.0?

I hear people putting it on before, then sealing with NXT 2.0.

I hear some getting good results of putting on before, sealing with NXT 2.0.. then putting a second coat on after NXT 2.0. This would indicate neither strips the other. Do you know about these products?

I did not know NXT 2.0 stripped previous products off either,.. I have never heard that. Where have you found evidence it cleans your previously applied glazes? Very interesting.

Thanks
