My first detail.- thanks to this forum

First I want to thank this forum for having the patience not to flam newbies for asking the same basic questions.



I washed, clayed, Zaino'd my new car-. 2 coats Z5/2 coats Z2. I like the results- especially the third picture.



Now the question is to wax over it or not? I bought Natty's Blue for it. Not sure if it is worth the effort. (and what do I need to do before my next coat of zaino?)

Personally I wouldn't wax over it, I don't think you would gain much, and the carnauba might make later applications of Zaino have issues.



Did you buy Z8? I imagine you will wash it every weekend, so give it a spray of Z8 after you dry it. You could even add another layer of Z2 every weekend.



And congrats, the car looks fantastic!

The car looks great, i wouldent top it would with Nattys. As mentioned it would mean the end of more layers of Z5/Z2 and i doubt it would improve anyone. I recently aquired ZAIO, Z5, CS and Z8. If you dont mind buying the extra Grand Seal will make your car look extra nice and is idea as a top up between washes. You can go ahead and apply your Z2/Z5 as you would normally as well!!

unfortunately to get one of the first ones, MSRP- which with the stupid dealer add ons ended up around 44 K. :wall

Love it. I had an 04 350 Z, then An Acura TL. this car is so much better. great ride, much nicer interior (than the Z), with real time traffic, music box (that hold 300 albums) I-pod and phone integration with voice activation, back up camera, etc.

But power and agility is what really get me. fun, fun, fun!!!:
