My First Detail: Corolla

I offered to detail my grandmother's Corolla for cheap just for some practice. It wasnt in too bad of shape, but needed some TLC. My supplies are limited and so is my experience, and did i learn a lot!

Exterior:

Meg's Deep Crystal Wash
Simple Green on Tires/Wheels Wells/Engine

Interior:

Simple Green and Oxyclean on carpets.
Simple Green on dash.

I only have Black Magic Pro Shine for interiors, and Meg's Hot Shine for tires (I know I know they suck, but its all i got) Anyways, it was kinda rough, and after washing really good i put a coat of Gold Class on it.

Let me know what you think:

Pretty nice for a wash and wax. You said you cleaned the engine too? Need pics!!! :cool

Those wheels could use a good polishing. You can get some Mother's polish at the local parts store and get some practice. It would make for some nice before and after pics.

Looks like you have a nice place to get some detailing done as well. :)

Thanks, i do have a very nice place to detail. It was just practice, i know it could've been better.

I didnt take any engine shots.

those wheels look aluminum. id be careful with the simple green there. i think thats why they were stained like that? simple green seems to not work good with aluminum.. i use simple green on all my wheels except aluminum ones.

but dont worry too much, thats nothing a little metal polish wont take out

Nice job... and you've got the right attitude! Practice makes perfect... and it's never "perfect" enough! :D

Looks Good. Practice makes perfect! Looking forward to more details in the future!
