I thought I'd share what I have settled on for detailing supplies over the last few years. I'd like to hear comments on where I can improve:

1) Car wash- Adams Shampoo
2) Bug/Tar Cleaner- Poor Boy Squash
3) Adhesive Remover- 3M spray
4) Wheel Cleaner- Griot's (Original green stuff)
5) Plastic Lens- Plexus
6) Carpet cleaner- Griot Interior Cleaner
7) Waterless Car Wash- Adams
8) Detailers- General- Adams, Nubas- Dodo mist, Klasse- Sonus Spritz
9) Clay- Sonus Fine Grade with Sonus lubricant
10) Leather- Leatherique Kit
11) Interior Vinyl and plastic- Einzett Cockpit, 303
12) Rubber- Einzett Gummi
13) Convertible Top- Ragtop
14) Tires- Zaino tire gloss Z16
15) Sealants- Klasse twins, Fk 1000
16) Wax- Dodo Supernatural
17) Microfiber- Eurow Shaq Weave, Chemical Guys Sasquatch
18) Glass- Griot, Invisible Glass
19) Sheep Skin Wash Mitts- Adams small and large
20) Gilmour foamaster
21) Exterior Vinyl- Muc-off (ordered, haven't tried)
22) Polish- Griots 1-4, Mezerna SIP and PO106A Nano
 
it looks great for just your own, but for a business then you might need to add some more products.
 
We have six cars in the family plus a Harley. I only work on our vehicles right now. Someday I may start a small detailing business but not right now.
 
You've got some nice stuff there. I certainly don't want to hijack your thread but I'll just list a few things I have settled on in my detailing travels.

Klasse
303 Aerospace Protectant
PO85RD
Meg Ult Compound
ONR
Opt Car Wax
Opt Tire Gel

Also learning to really like Meg M20.
And when I run low on sealants again Blackfire will work its way back in the rotation.
 
There is nothing wrong with your list as a consumer. If and when you decide to go pro I would recommend some changes.

The only thing I really dont like personally is the Adams shampoo. It is "too" gentile and has very little cleaning ability. There are many shampoos on the market that have good sudzing action as well as a pH of 7 that will not strip wax. One that comes to mind is the Ultima Paint Guard Wash.

I do use wipe on wipe off. Another method I have used is something I experimented with when trying Wekstatt Trigger. I dilute the SG 50/50 with distilled water and use as a spritz to moisten the pad when applying AIO with my PC. AZ air is warm and dry and if it gets hot the AIO can dry out so I spritz a bit on the pad and it keeps the AIO moist and adds a bit more of the acrylic to the surface. It seems to work really well, still enjoy the great longevity and shine.

I'm gonna have to try that car wash....always looking for a good one.

I agree that the Adams wash is very gentle. It does have good suds action though. It was an improvement over Meguiars Gold Class(prior shampoo) so I bought a gallon and it lasts forever. I use wheel cleaner and bug squash to assist in the cleaning process. When the Adams is gone, I may try the Ultima. Certainly I could use something with more cleaning action.

Right now I have about 8 coats of SG on my Crossfire and so I don't use the AIO much. I just add coats of SG. I use the Fk 1000 on my Black BMW with the supernatural over it.

I'll see if I can find one. The car is a 2005 and has only 500 miles on it. I will be putting another coat on before winter. Its easy once you get the first few on. Unlike some sealants it does make a slight difference as you add coats.
 
Thanks for the pic Crossfire. Somehow I dont think the small size pic does your car justice. Its hard to see anything but the woman too!:D

Im sure the paint is gorgeous ,its just hard to see!

(I enjoy putting a monthly coat of KSG on my van myself . )
 
Sorry, best pic I have of it right now. I thought if you clicked on the picture you could see the gloss in the roof panel. I have to take some more pictures of the Crossfire and BMW before winter hits.

Thanks Crossfire . I would love to see more pics of KSG layered .
How do you layer it ? One coat and then wait a day for another coat ?
