My Aerospace 303 STINKS!!

I've had it about 6 months and WOW! It stinks.

To give an idea, it smells like a very, very sweaty body odor / sulfer type smell. When I put it on the dash in the work truck I couldn't breathe for nearly two days and had to "air it out".

Any suggestions on what it could be?

:thx

does it look different? I think its supposed to look like a milky substance right when you spray it.

I always found 303 to have an almost non-existent smell... there must be something really wrong with yours! eesh

It looks completely normal as it always has. It just has deveopled the awful smell. I hate to throw away the entire bottle.

I noticed the exact same odor on a new bottle began using. I don't remember the old bottle having that odor. But with the new bottle, the BO scent is pretty bad. I wonder if the formula has changed? Bad batch going around?

I too don't want to toss the entire bottle. But it's so offensive smelling I don't want to use it either. Maybe I'll send an email off to 303.

EDIT: Just sent them an email. I'll let you know what they say.

I don't know how much this helps, but I've noticed a BO odor from original formula Armor-All. The smell may just be from some common ingredient used in gloss enhancers.

Got a reply back from them about the BO smell. I must say I'm impressed at how quickly they responded...

"no offensive odor unless it has been frozen (which destroys this product). After that, it separates and often such an odor can occur."

I don't think mine ever froze since I've had it. We've had some cold nights even for Southern California, but nothing cold enough to actually freeze my detailing supplies. I wonder if mine was frozen sometime before it found its way to my hands.

I had some black flakes in my gallon after about a year. I called 303 and they sent me a replacement gallon and a postage paid sticker to send mine back. They said they wanted to investigate and see what happened. IMPRESSED.

I don't think mine could have froze. It's been in Florida all it's life.

I may pick up a small bottle and see how it does? Then again, others are also having the same issue. :dig

mine stinks too. after finishing my interior this weekend I had to keep all the windows down for two nights in the garage. my fiance told me repeatedly that I had terrible body odor when we were driving around the next day! it goes away after a few days, so no big deal.

I just used my 303 today for the first time. Jeez. That stuff will never go near the inside of

my car again. Yuck! Now I have to put up with that smell for a few days. The bottle that I have will be relegated to only exterior trim until it runs out.

Great...sounds like a bad batch, and I just ordered more 303 too. My what's left in my current bottle and previous bottles has never had an unpleasant odor at all. So this is NOT normal.

Wow, i had been using 303 for last 4 years and havent had any problem. Maybe to due cold during the shipment.

sounds like a good heads-up from you guys. i was taking stock today and found i needed some. was about to order as part of that 15%discount thingy from autogeek .i think i'll wait for awhile. reminds me of last year, similar thing was happening with my optimum polish. was coming out clumpy and they had a separation problem with that. us guys must be buying so much of all this stuff, they must be turning it out at a fantastic rate. quality control ??????

the explanation of freezing during transit makes sense. We might have to stop buying detailing products over the winter, I guess.
