My 2003 Mach 1 Undercarriage detail...

Hey guys, well here are a few pictures of the undercarriage of my car after I did a quick cleanup of it...The warehouse that I've been working at has a very nice lift, and I was told I could use it whenever, so I went down today and decided to clean the car as well as the undercarriage!

My process was to wet the underside of the car down, and then I sprayed a strong mixture of Meg's APC, and let that dwell for approximately 2-4 minutes...After this I took an old microfiber and wiped down every surface I could, and polished the exhaust, and this is what I got!

I probably only spent about 30 minutes on the underside, I really don't drive the car in rain too much, and it probably shows ;) :bigups

If anyone wants more recent pictures of the car, I'll take some pictures and post them to show you the full deal...I'm sure you've all seen it a million times though, so thats why I didn't post anymore lol....

I also ran a new best, 12.82 @ 105.8! Intake spacer, gears, and a shifter I should be looooooowwww 12's :woot2:

that's what the underside of a car should look like!! how do you like that exhaust? does is have a nice cackel?

Thanks, and yes, the car sounds pretty good! Here is a sound clip if you want to hear it...Loudest rev was about 4800 RPM, I shift at 6300...its pretty loud!

Nice car. Sounds like a pretty stout running Mach. Throw some gears and LT's at it with those DR's and really hold on!!

Really wish I had the equipment to do that to my car....Good Stuff! :usa BTW, is it even worth taking off the rust on those parts shown and put some kind of sealant on it?

No not really, I may get an aluminum driveshaft, otherwise, the surface rust is normal...

I took the entire rear axle out of my Jeep and painted it, but thats something that can be seen on a Jeep with a lift.

Looks good! Wish I could put mine up on the racks to detail the underbody!

very clean man! Are you running aftermarket LCA's?

Yes, I'm running the Maximum Motorsports Adjustable LCA's, they're extremely nice and definitely have tightened up the rear, so much that you could notice it "seat of the pants"!

Great job on the undercarriage, looks very much like the underside of my GT. I love my Magnaflows :woot2: I have also added a Ford Racing Aluminum driveshaft...

Don't have any decent pics of the undercarriage but you will probably recognize the tips in this shot...

I have a set of Maximum Motorsports adjustable LCAs, full length (powder coated) subframe connectors and Kenny Brown jacking rails yet to go on as well as Ford Bullitt springs, shocks and struts that I have had sitting around for ages.

Love MM's stuff. Very high quality! I use their non adjustable LCA's on my GT. I'm thinking about getting their coilover kit formy Koni's
