1994 Mustang GT. Owner wants it made very clear the little scoop on the hood was there when he bought the car and when he decides to repaint the car it will be gone. Unfortunately, the previous owner put it on using some sort of glue that won't let loose. But the car is in otherwise great shape other than the scoop and okay repaint. Anyway, the owner wanted it cleaned up and looking better for now until he decides what direction to take it.

ONR wash, Opti-Clay yellow on most of the car, Clay Magic purple on the horizontal surfaces (lots of sap issues)

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum orange foam cutting pad and Rupes 21

Optimum Opti-Seal

2004 Honda Accord. My Accord to be exact. Decided to apply some Mitchell and King Rannoch Wax over Opti-Coat. The wax never fails to amaze me. Rich, deep, wet. It isn't cheap but if you want a high end wax that isn't too outrageously priced, its the one I'd go with.

Mitchell and King Rannoch Paste Wax

Armor All on tires/wheel wells and visible exhaust (keeps it really black!)

See how dressing the exhaust keeps it looking black and nearly invisible? Keeps with the sleeper image. So does the de-badging I did.

Might as well show off the DC Sport front upper strut bar I put on the other day. Definitely tightened up steering response, front end feels more glued down. Already have the 20 mm TL Type S rear anti-roll bar (stock was 13 mm), XLR8 J-pipe, removed the intake resonator and mid muffler too. RSX wheels are 16 lbs each vs the 25 lbs OE wheels my car came with.

Just did a quick ONR wipe-down, engine is about due for a deep cleaning again.

All of the cars you detail look awesome. Love what you've done with the Accord so far.
The Mustang doesn't look too bad with that hood scoop actually.

2007 Audi A3. Owner has kept this car in excellent shape! Other than the driver's side (front door to rear fender) having some buffer trails from refinishing during the time the original owner had the car, the paint was nearly swirl free.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser to spot clay

Meguiars M100 using a Meguiars MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 to polish the areas with buffer trails

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum orange foam waffle cutting pad and Rupes 21 over the whole car

Opti-Seal

2007 Lexus IS350. Took a while due to weather to get going on this one. Nasty sleet storm, unusual cold (we set a record for freezes from November 1 to the end of the year in DFW with 24, normally even during the coldest part of the year, average lows are no lower than 35...) and scheduling conflicts meant it was about a month from when we first talked to when I was able to do the car. Rained during the week, owner didn't have time to wash it himself, but you can see the cleaning power of ONR here...

Paint did have swirls:

Nothing worked on the exhaust tips...

Hopefully this is the last of the washed out looking pics of dark cars (other than a BMW 750 I have to post up) now that I've figured out where the exposure compensation is on my new Nikon.

From my cell phone:

Nikon without exposure compensation... :(

Nicely done guys! Can't believe the paint on your Accord has the pop still there! My wife's is an '06 like yours in Met. Gray and doesn't look as deep as yours! Lexus black is funny to play with. And it played nice for you!

Thanks! I bought the Accord from my Dad when he bought his Frontier so it had been maintained well both mechanically and cosmetically.

BTW, blacked out my trim today with a vinyl trim kit. Not perfect, might redo the top strip on each window on the driver's side when it warms up, couple wrinkles where it curves but not really noticeable from 2-3 feet away.
