Must-have Griot's products?

What are the must-have products sold by Griot's Garage? What are your favorites?

Griot's is offering free-shipping through the weekend, so I thought I might take advantage of the offer. What should I get?

Well, I believe their wheel cleaner by the gallon is their #1 offering assuming your wheels are maintained on a routine basis. I really like the FACOM tools I've purchased over the years. Very nice to work with.

I have to pick just one or two? Might be hard - I'm a bit of a fan of their stuff...

I'll +1 on the wheel cleaner, undercarriage spray, and the drying towel. I have a 5-6 year old drying towel that I still use.

I'm OK with the rubber cleaner, too. The car wash soap is nice, but pricey.

I like there wheel cleaner and drying towels as well. I really want some rubber cleaner too.

Why not use autogeek's 15% off and free shipping to sweeten the deal and get some more!!

It looks like you are opening up a boutique shop in a mall with that furniture.:)

Good grief :) It looks suspiciously like you've positioned the tv screen in such a way that you can sit in your car and watch it. Fantastic :chuckle:

I use their: car wash, wheel cleaner, rubber cleaner, lint free towels, microfiber cleaning pads (like a microfiber covered sponge).

I use their interior cleaner to clean carpets.

I finally decided to order the following:

1 35 oz. Griot's Garage Undercarriage Spray 13.99

1 35 oz. Griot's Garage Wheel Cleaner 9.99

1 35oz. Griot's Garage Pre-Wax Cleanser 8.99

As I also wanted to get a gallon jug of FK 425, I decided to place my order through AutoGeek, thus availing myself of both free shipping and a 15% discount.

After looking at their catalogs countless times I came to the conclusion that it was a bunch of overpriced stuff.

That was until I decided to try some of their rubber prep. That stuff works great on rubber seals/etc. I wish they sold it in gallon sizes (or atleast quarts).

Now Im really interested in the rest of their lineup, most notably their paint prep and wheel cleaner

I like their QD, Speed Shine better than FK425. If you want a QD that will darken your paint get Speed Shine.

I like Griots stuff but find it kind of expensive. I do like the speed shine and the leather cleaner. I also like the clay and find it a pretty good deal with the amount that you get.

Their tools are way expensive but would love to have like the seat at floor level..

I will tell you that the best of show wax is horrible. The stuff is impossible to get off and ended up marring the paint just trying to remove the stuff.

Akimel- Be careful with the Undercarriage Spray, don't get it on anything you don't *want* it on, including your floor/driveway.

Yeah, the Rubber Prep is a true miracle-worker, simply great stuff.

Oh, and props to you for keeping an open mind :xyxthumbs Nothing wrong with Griot's stuff IMO, even if I don't care for their waxes and polishes.

I still prefer FK425 on sealants, but yeah, SpeedShine is my go-to QD for carnaubas. Never noticed any paint darkening with though, might be a question of which LSPs it's used on or something like that :nixweiss

Some of their (oh-so-pricey!) tools have served me *very* well, but IME Facom ratchets are simply so unreliable as to be pretty much unusable; you just can't count on them to work. I even have better luck with Craftsman, and regulars here know how poorly *those* have worked out for me.
