Wow, I have had so many detials lately, on top of my reg job, you pros are absolutly nuts to do this on a day to day basis, I think I need a massage....

Alright, blandest to coolest, here goes:

First up, buick regal. Owner was ready to sell it

Process:

Wash with Megs Deep Crystal

Clay Horiz Surfaces

Wash Again

Polish Wheels

VM with white

EX-P with mf app

No pics of the inside but shampoed carpets, woolie on the leather, 303 on the dash, that thing looked great. Heres a few pics:

First off the really really shinney wheel. Im proud of it, the brake dust was really baked into the cracks, took some elbow grease to get it out:

Heres a full shot of the car finished:

And of course the hood shot, (I really really like the hawainan punch combo, like scottwax said, it really does bring out the metalics)

Alright, enough on poopy buicks (no pun intended on buicks;)), onto a much more interesting car. I was so excited to do this one.....95 C4 Corvette Grand Sport with the Z51 suspension package. BADASS!!! Pretty rare actually, especially with the paint job. All stock minus some penske shocks and a K&N filter. This thing was in great shape, all I did was throw a coat of #16 on it and she was good to go. I found it really hard to remove tho, took a lot more effort then I would have liked, but then again, Im used to the ease of VM and EX-P, so I just might be spoiled. The lighting was weird, so the pics didnt come out so great.

And of course the hood shot, talk about a deep reflection in the paint!

Onto the 2002 Lincoln Blackwood, only 2500 of these badboys made. Owner used to run a detialing shop, now he owns a few gas stations, but he was one of those guys that no matter how good it looked, he still wanst happy. He was complainin about some missed wax in a crack (fixed it), brake dust behind his rims etc, it was a real headache. Finally I got out of there, money in hand, knowing that he would never be happy. Anyways, process was as follows:

Wash with megs deep crystal

Clay (this thing was GROSS, took up the rest of my claybar, now I need more:( )

Wash again

VM with white

EX-P with mf app (can you tell I like this combo, prob the easiest 2 step out there)

Megs cleaner wax on the rims

Megs High Gloss Endurance Gel on the tires

Nothing on the inside, he didnt want it done

and VOILA! This thing looks like a friggin mirror!

Last one, I really like the "wood" trim on the bedsides, I think It looks really classy. Combined with those 22" :shocked , this is one badass blackwood

Thats all folks, thats for readin! Im gonna go sleep for a few days now....

the blackwood looks good.. too bad the owner was complaing, but what ya gonna do.. anyways, the side exhaust on it looks cool... wonder if it sounds as good as it looks

the buick is badass! :D just joking. but i really like how the metallic really shines!

the vette is awesome. love the hood shot!

and nice job on the blackwood. too bad he didn't make the side exhaust look more like the lightning's one. and too bad those things weren't built like the concept blackwood with real wood trim!

NavindraLR, the exhuast actually sounds pretty good, hes got a magnaflow on it , so its got a nice deep mellow purr. The funny thing is he has a matching set of pipes on the other side, but there just bolted on for show :)

All others, thanks for the comments much appreciated. That blackwood wont be done by me ever again, I can tell you that much....and thats not to say that I dont put my all into each car I do, just that there are so many other clients out there that truely appreciate the whole picture minus a spot or 2 that I may have missed along the line

That Grand Sport is hotness times 2.The Blackwood is nice to. Iv'e only seen one on the street here in Daly City.

Other job is Retail at "Sportmart" I get 9 an hour there, and thats easy work, in an air conditioned building, and its consistant. I dont have the stamina (well I do, but I need to be lazy sometimes) to detail full time. Whenever I get a call for a car, just schedule it on my day off, and good to go. Best of both worlds actually, plus there this really cute girl in aparral.....(already QEW'd her car while she was workin, talk about surprised)

Slythetove, my bad, corvette is cooler fer sure, I think I was just a "little" biased by those 22"s. Heh, maybe it was all the work I put into polishing those bad boys
