Mr Clean Magic Eraser

Wow! My wife turned me on to this one, cleaning up some plastic kids toys for selling. Wiping/rubbing them down with this made them look like new. It all came off. Old paint, scuff marks, crayon stains, etc.

Which of course got me to wondering what would happen if I went at the interior of the car with it. You know, those difficult areas like the door handles, and down on the kick panels where they get scuffed.

In my very limited test on my scrounge of a truck, it worked wonderfully. With just a few minutes of rubbing I've got some areas on the inside of the truck that are embarassingly spiffy. Does wonderfully on vinyl door panels and the plastic kick panels. Oh, la-la!

If you haven't tried it, I'd suggest it be worth the investigation.

They're talking about this on the detailing forum at the Lexus Owners Club, I was wondering how safe it was also. They even use them on leather...

I have them and they're great for cleaning scuff marks off walls and such.

I just picked some up at Wal-Mart, and I am amazed. My gf had scuff marks on her door from her shoes & purses that I had tried everything to remove (including mineral spirits and Goop Off), but nothing touched them. 45 seconds with the eraser and they were gone!

All you Pro Detailers out there-pick these up! They will save you so much time ($1.88 for a 2-pack at Wal-Mart).

I've been meaning to pick one up, but always forget when I'm out shopping. Maybe if they put it next to the auto suppllies, I'd remember. :)

I posted about this a while back when I got a free sample last fall. Great for engine work and any area other than paint or brite work. Also works great on windows.

The major supermarket chains in our area carry them also. Found them near the cleaning supplies.

Put me on the bandwagon, they do work well. Small spots on leather lifted right out (rub very lightly!)
