Mothers PowerBall and Metal Polish

Since business has been slow this week due to storm front moving in today, I decided to give the PowerBall and Polish a real world test. My detail trailer gets the most damage on the front with road grime, chemicals spills, and scratches. I use the lid of the front storage area to mix my chemicals so with the spills it gets really nasty. When detailing boats I use acid to remove the water ring on the boat and I have not found anything that could remove the stains until now!

The first photo (PBall1) is after polishing the left side of the trailer as I forgot to take a before shot you can compare it to the second photo (PBall2) which has not been polished as yet.

There is a good difference between the two photos. Using the PowerBall, I put a little of the polish on and then went to work using the same pattern as you would if you were polishing a car with a PC. Photo (PBall3) is a before shot of the front trailer box. On the next photo (PBall4) you can see a dramatic difference of before and after.

I had been trying everything to get that box looking good for a long time with no luck. I did have to go over the area twice, but am real happy with the results. I see a lot of companies that say âہ“this product is the greatestâ€Â, but that PowerBall and polish knocked me for a loop!

The PowerBall really took a beating â€â€œ I was not very nice to it at all as I wanted to see if I could damage it. I canâ€â„¢t see any damage after washing! I will be finishing the trailer up later today or tomorrow and send final photos of the whole trailer. I really did not expect the PowerBall and polish to give the results that I received. I was wrong and really shocked. I recommend the PowerBall and Polish very highly!!!!!!

Vey timely for me.

I've got this little GS4 coming soon, with lots of 'brightwork'.

I just emailed mothers/Forrest about these items...

Thanks for the review!

This trailer may have to wait for me to finish it in the next few days as my new trailer is ready for pickup! Custom built 8' X 16" enclosed with aluminum cabinets and a storage area for my generator. I will post photos when the trailer is fully outfitted.

Most of those stains are from different chemicals including muratic acid. I use the lid for mixing chemicals and with spillage the lid takes a beating. I wanted to give the PowerBall and Metal Polish a real world testing, something the adverage person would never come across. I think I did it and you see the results.

Sorry Ds01C5, but this is another product that a rep from Mothers sent me to test. I do not know when this will be available, but it is listed on Mothers website catalog. I would call Mothers and ask them.

I also have some other compounds, polishes and waxes to test.

Cheers

One thing I forgot to mentioned is the cleaning process of the PowerBall. First, take the PowerBall apart. Put a little Dawn on the PowerBall and work it in good. Then wash it out and repeat the process. When the PowerBall is clean, cover it on a dry towel and the stand on it. When almost dry, put PowerBall together and spin it on a drill. PowerBall does not have to be completely dry to use, but I found it does work better or you will get a little overspray due to PowerBall being damp.

Don't feel bad - I'm trying to figure out which of my guys sent it to him, too (I'm guessing it was Jim.) Once this week's filming of OverHaulin' gets done (they're filming it at our place) he and I are going to have a talk.....
