Guys today I decided to test this product who someone said was a good agressive polish OTC. After using it nothing really changed, scratches and swirls still and I didn't got any wetness,deepnest or shine at all. This is how it went;

wash with dawn

clay magic

wash again

power polish via 3m waived coumpounding pad at pc spd 3-6 ( I gave up after this step, since there was no improvement) I did put some pressure on the pc and make several passes moving it slowly.

Any idea of what went wrong? products? pad? techniques? thanks...

I forgot to say I'm in PR zip: 00917 so it's pretty difficult for me to find any good stuff locally besides Advance,PepBoys.. Autozone..

I have used power polish with good results. Have you ever polished with the PC before? If so, how did it compare to other products? It could be you are not working it long enough. I work it until almost dry then wipe it off. I have used it with Meguiar's polishing pad and their burgundy cutting pad. BTW, I'm from San Sebastian, PR originally.

I'm still new to the PC and I love this stuff. I actually used it last night and it's wonderful for removing hazing from DACP, especially on a darker vehicle. IMHO, it's easier to use than any of the meg's polishes. I'm not familiar with some of the higher end polishes, so I can't compare it to them. On a meg's polishing pad, spread it around on 1, crank it up to 5-6, and work it till it almost dissapears. It's very versitale, I used a yellow cutting pad with it in spots and with that pad choice, it's enough to leave a pretty decent amount of hazing. I'm not too confident in my polishing skills and can get great results, so it might have some fillers. Who knows, maybe I'm better than I thought!

One question about your bottle of MPP, what is it's consistency? I read about a bad batch that was very watery. Mine is from a good batch and is very thick. Don't give up on it, it's some of the best stuff you can buy OTC.
