has anyone used this for paint chip and rock repair? seems easy, but just curious of theoutcome. also seen something from chipmagic that seems similar. thanks

Yeah, I was actually wondering also. I saw this on TV last night. Looked simple, like it worked, and quite interesting. Anybody?

do a search for 'lanka' and you'll glean some info on the mother's chip repair dealie.. It's some kind of solvent that lets you wipe the paint fill more level with the good paint, instead of having to use sandpaper..

I have used it with mixed results. On one vehicle, things went quite well and I was very happy with the results. Red car and the repair was not at all visible. On a dark blue metallic, my luck was no where near as good. It seems that it is somewhat of an art in getting the right drying time, right amount of product and right amount of polishing. Since it worked so well the one time, I have to feel that the problem is most likely me. Next time I will vary my routine a little and see how things go.
