Mother's "Incredible" Billet Metal Polish. The "Incredible" on the container is true. This polish did a very nice job of cleaning up the polished aluminum engine cases on my Harley Sportster 1200. They were in pretty decent shape(very decent shape) when I started. Now they are darn close to lookin' like chrome.

I followed the metal polish with an application on NXT. The motor is lookin' good.

Good to hear Tom. I have heard similar results. My father has a 2002 1200 Sportster, and I face the same thing. We just chromed out the left side for his birthday and fathers day. I'll have to post some pics on it sometime.

Nick,

My other bike is a 2002 Super Glide. I "chromed it all" before I took delivery. It sure allows me more riding time.

Are you going to get the other side of the Sportster chromed for Christmas?

New here to Detail city I usually lurk on Autopia but I need some variety amd more topics:) So Hello. I had bought some interior billet pieces for my stang a year ago, they were a brushed finish, so not to shiny. Well from my little bro's recommendations I tried the Mothers Billet. It made a huge difference my pieces looke like they were chromed, better looking than when I originally got them amazing how dirty and dull metal can get inside your car. Didn't take much effort so it gets a big thumbs up here. I can't remember but how does it work for chrome I haven't tried it on it yet or is it intended for chrome too?
