For the past year or so I’ve been testing trim cleaner formulas for Mothers and was highly impressed with the very first version. I contacted Forrest and said this stuff is great; you really need to market it. So when the 2013 line came out and it wasn’t there I’m thinking what are they thinking!!!!! Fast forward a year later a few more test formulas and here it is new for spring 2014. The following pictures only show what it can do in removing wax residue but it can do much more. Any faded, dull, weathered trim can be cleaned up in a matter of minutes and I mean minutes with a detail brush and microfiber towel whether it be plastic, vinyl or rubber. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, you be the judge!
I was able to clean all of this up in about 10 minutes total for both sides.

You may have already seen some of these from my Sea Doo post.

Last time i used Mothers Back to Black a few years ago, on the first rain i'd get oily streak marks running down from the treated pieces. Hope its a lot better.

Does this treat the trim as well or just clean it? If it's just a cleaner can you then add what ever your go to trim treatment is?

Pictures count. 1000 words each, I've read.. ;)

Thanks your too kind :)

I had the same problem its usually from not wiping off the residue thoroughly but not always. I haven't used the new dressing yet so I can't comment.

It is a cleaner only. After cleaning you can add what ever trim dressing you like or just leave it as it is. None of my after pictures have any type of dressing they are just as the cleaner leaves the surface.:inspector:

Great review Ron !!

Thanks

Nice review Ron! The results are very good.

Yes they are, solid product.

Looks like a great product!

Yep sure is Al.

nice........

this is going to be great for that first spring detail! getting off the old and putting on the new.

i always liked their original back to black plastic restorer.

the pics i have seen of the trim cleaner make me very interested in it as well

probably a cheaper alternative to using dp polish prep to clean trim

When is going to be available? I hope it ain't months away and that they're releasing the 2014 early, like car companies.

When I was first started to use Black to Black long time ago, it was very thick. I stopped using it after they thinner down. I wonder did they change it back to thicker?
