Most Thoughtful Gift Ever!!!!!

I've been wondering about which of these 2 cleaners might be superior. I've heard good things about both, but would like some input from my Auopian brethren.

If neither of these are to your liking, what is your preference?

My Jetta has a cloth interior which is a combination of "regular" cloth (on the bolsters and head restraints) and a waffle or basket weave (on the seat & backrest) cloth.

There is a hard, crusty something (but clear) on the upholstery that I'd like to take off. I think it may be original to the car and could be a glue of some sort as the car is relatively new. Very few people have ridden in the back seat and I don't allow food in the car so, it's not that.

Thanks in advance!

I have both and find the EF to be a better cleaner. My test was done on cloth seats (rough texture) and carpets.

What about EF HI? I know that it stains the cotton towels I have to a rosy pink color...might it do the same to the fabric? It's never stained things like hard plastic (computer monitors, keyboards and the like) nor enameled surfaces.

So my birthday came and went this weekend :bday cake: and I was already to retire for the night and fall asleep with the TV on when a knock came to the door.......I found one of my nephews bearing gifts. Neither of the gifts are very expensive but I think are the most thoughtful thing someone has done for me in a long time. For the full effect I will have to backtrack a bit.....

I detailed two cars for my nephew, a 2010 Lexus and 2008 Jeep. He helped with the Lexus and happened to hear me brag about this yellow clay I got from Canada. (you see where this is going) I also mentioned that I wish I had my little garden tool (Step 2 Garden Hopper, that I had on loan and was looking to buy) to sit on, (I left it at home during this detail)

Well Jared bought me the Garden Hopper and SIX bars of yellow clay. I asked if this is from Canada and he said yes. I asked how he managed to ship it here and he said he searched the online forums until a user agreed to ship it to him. What makes this more amazing is Jared is not into detailing and would have no idea who to go to. This forum and member is nameless. If it was you, thanks for helping out.

So my nephew was saying thank you for the help on his cars and in the process gave me one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received. The effort it took to get the clay must have been great. And the fact that he listened about the Garden Hopper is amazing. Actually I didn't even know it was called that. He found it at Walmart and took a chance. He liked it because it holds a soda can. LOL Anyway, thanks to the nameless member on an unknown forum who helped him out. And thank you so much to Jared, my favorite nephew.

Hey man, Happy Belated Birthday - what day was it ? Mine was Saturday.

That is a very nice, caring, Nephew you have there, that is so cool !!!

I have heard lots about this clay, hope to find out more about it someday.

Right now, I would be happy to find a clay that the Blackfire clay cleaner does NOT kill off after so many cleanings..

Hope you had a great birthday !!
