Most effective Glaze?

What's your most effective glaze at hiding swirls and minor scratches? I have a black daily driver that I would like to keep looking great in between polishing sessions. Sometimes I use sealant, sometimes wax - would like feedback on both if anyone has it.

Best glaze when topping with sealant?

Best glaze when topping with carnauba wax?

Thanks!

Omega Glaze works very well as does Mother Sealer & Glaze when topped with a Carnauba.

As for sealants: Menzerna's FTG can be topped with FMJ and work well. Danase Wet Glaze seems to be more of a gloss enhancer (and boy does it ever succeed in that department!) than a true filler glaze in my experience.

I used Meg's Body Shop Professional Hand Polish with NXT liquid and that seemed to work well with my black car. I've also heard a number of positive things about Clearkote's Red Moose Glaze (RMG), so you may check that out as well.

If you'd consider trying a polish with "fillers" try the Sonus Swirlbuster polish. It's my go to polish as of the moment...

thanks guys! I seem to remember reading about Product X by Blue Corral (?) that was great at filling swirls.

The only product that seemed to cover up things for me was OCW.

Prima has a spray wax that octaneguy recommends. Look for the thread.

The only glazes i have seen so far that play well with most sealants are

the FK1 machine glaze, and Menzerna Glaze. I am told however, that Zaino's

Z5Pro will work well with just about all sealants, but I have not used it yet so

YMMV.

As for glazes that work well with wax, any of the above, plus:

Mother's Sealer and Glaze

3m IHG

As far as the one that seems most effective to me, ie: good hiding and good gloss

would be a tie between Mother's and Menzerna, with the upper hand going to

Mother's for providing the wettest look af all the above I have used.

I think this may be important to how effective a glaze is.

Do these new acrylic glazes also hinder a top coat's longevity like traditional oily glazes? I'd like to throw some glaze under my 476S for looks but I need 476 to last as long as possible. Even with the glaze, I understand 476 will last longer than many sealants but with the car I have in mind, I won't be able to touch it again for at least a year.

Glazes are very underutilized in my opion. ............. Your pure glazes as Meguiars #3, 5, 7, and 81. Very good under carnauba wax. They replenish essential oils and nutrients to make a finish wet and deep prior to a LSP. I have even talked to the guys at Meguiars (several times) and they say you can use these on top of a waxed finish without removing the lsp....You have the filler glazes by Meg. #9 and #80....You have cleaner glazes as Red Moose, Vanilla Moose, EZ glaze, Wet Mirror Finish, Danase Wet glaze, Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze. How about that! There is more i did not name.

Me, I like MG #81, RMG under a wax.................

Under a sealant RMG, Wet Mirror, Or Vanilla Moose..........

Now that I just now started with Zymol Vintage Wax, I am going to be very careful on what glazes I use....

My go to was Menzerna PO85RD, Red Moose Glaze, then Pinnacle Souveran Wax. Stunning finish!
