More FMJ stuff.

A few updates:

On a tip from Anthony Orosco, I tried AIO before FMJ instead of the FTG. I had to do the whole process again due to missing some bad swirls the first time, so I gave it a shot. Highly recommended combo. Slickness is even better than with the glaze, and application/removal is easier. Anyone looking to use FMJ, I'd definitely pass on the FTG and use the AIO.

Also, Blackfire's detail spray works well with it, better than Z6 or WAUD. Didn't seem to negatively affect the looks or slickness at all.

Durability after a month (through a few rainstorms, a lot of dust and pollen, and a lot of heavy sun) was top notch, as good as Day 1. Beading was unaffected. This time I'm (hopefully) going to not have to touch the one coat for a long time so I can get some better long-term durability results.

Would you say the look is similar to FTG/FMJ? Your pics show a nice, clear, sealant type shine (ala Z) but with more liquidy depth than Z. Would you say you're seeing the same sort of look with AIO/FMJ?

Those pics show it with the FTG.

I really can't answer your question seeing as how it was dusk before I finished today. When I can get it out in the sun I'll let you know.

Even if it looks the same, using the AIO would still probably be a better option due to the ease of use and slick feel.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing your AIO/FMJ pics. I wish I had never seen your pics. Now I have to try FMJ. :p

Got the car out in the sun, and looks-wise, I'm not seeing much of a difference. It might've lost a slight bit of wetness, but I doubt it. Nothing really noticeable.

I snapped a couple quick pics today while the car was at the garage, and in the parking lot at the bank since you requested. :D Nothing great, though.

Full side shots, lots of sun but in shade:
