More Clearkote ?'s

I just bought a black car (2010 Mustang GT), even though I sweared to myself I would never own another black car.:faint:

Well after reading Sal329's thread and finding out Clearkote is sold locally I decided to call Everett (real nice guy) @ Clearkote and ordered VMHG, RG, CMW and Quickshine to help keep my black paint looking good. Overall my paint is 95% perfect and I have clayed and polished with meguiars 205. But, in certain spots there are very light defects and blemishes.

Everett told me to use RMG followed by CMW and my paint would look perfect. He also told me that RMG was more abrasive then VMHG, when applied by machine. Upon doing a search here I find conflicting opinions on which is glaze is more aggressive and whether or not RMG has any abrasives (Everett said it does).

First question, is RMG more aggressive by machine versus using VMHG or pink moose?

Second, What machine (PC, flex, or rotary) and pad should I use with these Clearkote products?

Third, am I just hiding these blemishes using the RMG/VMHG or am I getting actual correction? Everett gave me the impression that RMG by hand or machine would actually correct the few imperfections.

Sorry for the elementary questions but after doing many searches I ended up more confused. :confused:Thank you in advance for all advise and answers!!! :2thumbs:

You can mix Vanilla Moose and RMG to make "pink moose" which will remove light swirls. I'd use a polishing pad and the Flex.

I've read the same thing Everett said a couple of years ago and who would know more then the man who though up the product. I've never used either as far as correction goes but I have used 'pink moose' for light cleaning followed by #16 (great combo imo). I would love to hear your thought on CMW after you use it, I've always wanted to use it I just have to much product to buy it.

Thanks for all the responses and I can't wait to try out Clearkote. Next weekend I will be doing my GT and my friends 1966 Ford Fairlane GT that is red, so I will post lots of pics and give my review of each product.
