Mold on boat seats?

Boss has a 23' pontoon boat that the cover got ripped off and then left exsposed for an undisclosed amount of time. Now the off-white vinyl seats have black spots of mold all over them. I was wondering what are the best products to use to clean this off without hurting the vinyl?

I use a non scratch scouring pad with a special mold remover you can fine just about anywhere. Beleive it or not, a $4 bottle of Tilex mold remover for bathroom works wonders.. you can also use a scrub brush instead of a scouring pad.. make sure you wear rubber or nitrale gloves though!

I have cleaned several boats..I use a APC and warm water mixture with a soft bristle brush. Depending on how bad the seats are..My mixture was 4 to 1 water to APC..it some areas I also used a spray bottle mixed a tad strong where needed.

Pull all the seats out that you can. I do mine in the driveway with a trickle of water from the hose. Best thing about cleaning boats is you can get them wet safely.

Protection is another thing to think about. I have used two products. PB natural look, helps to prevent mold from returning or Ragg Topp has an excellent vinyl treatment.

thanks for the responses. the boss took it to a boat place to get a realistic estimate to submit to their insurance since i wasnt really sure what it would take and they wanted a answer right now. we may still be doing it in house though, so this information will be helpfull.
